Battlefield 4 Gameplay Released, Pre-Orders Start Today

Get ready for Battlefield 4! EA officially announced pre-orders for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game today along with a premium expansion pack included for a limited time. Rather than revealing just a trailer, EA and DICE did better than that - they've released a 17 minute-long gameplay footage of the single player campaign played using the PC version of the game. Battlefield 4 is even more intense and realistic this time around as to be expected, and the gameplay video below will blow your mind. A public beta of the game will be released as promised a full month before the official December 31 release.

Logitech Intros New G Line Of Gaming Mice, Keyboards, Headsets

Logitech is introducing a its new Logitech G line of newly designed, and rebranded for the most part, gaming peripherals including 2 headsets, 6 mice and 2 keyboards geared exclusively to PC gamers. Logitech's newly announced G product lineup includes the newly skinned flagship $100 G700s Rechargeable Gaming Mouse, $70 G500s Laser Gaming Mouse, $60 G400s Optical Gaming Mouse and the $40 G100s Optical Gaming Mouse. As for the new G series Keyboards, Logitech has also redesigned the appearance slightly of its $200 flagship G19s Gaming Keyboard as well as the $120 G510s Gaming Keyboard.

The new $80 G430 wired Surround Sound Gaming Headset is the more affordable redesigned version of Logitech's wireless G930 headset, and the new $60 G230 Stereo Gaming Headset is a stripped new look alike which comes in a red flavor. All of these gaming goodies are now available for pre-order and you should expect them to hit retail and virtual online shelves in the U.S. on April, and in Europe on May. GameStick, The New Portable Console Controller

We've seen numerous gaming consoles brought up by independent companies looking to rival the big guys at Sony and Microsoft, with the power of less costly consoles and games. The GameStick is a unique, $79 portable-sized gaming console powered by Android Jelly Bean that fits into your pocket. It's a dual analog stick controller and a console all in one package, and it connects to your TV using a small HDMI dongle which then wirelessly pairs up with the GameStick console controller over Bluetooth. So while it's not the next PlayStation Vita, it is the next modern portable TV gaming console.

The hardware is able to support full 1080p HD streaming of content, and it consists of an Amlogic 8726-MX processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of flash storage, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Gamers will of course have direct access to the Android ecosystem of affordable games, and as many as 200 titles which are fully compatible with the GameStick. Although the GameStick features very little on-board flash storage, users will also have access to cloud storage for games. The company behind the GameStick console controller are working with developers to bring more compatible content that is both free and affordably priced. No word yet on battery performance or access to movie and music content via the Android marketplace.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Live Action Trailer Released

The new Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 live-action commercial trailer titled "Surprise" hit the web today featuring Robert Downy Jr. (you know him...), FPS Russia (YouTube) and iJustine (YouTube) amongst others. It's pretty damn awesome too. Black Ops 2 is scheduled to be released on November 13 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Check out the video below for some crazy action.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops For OS X Now Available To Download

It only took forever, and you should have expected that as a Mac user, but finally Call Of Duty: Black Ops is now available for download at the Mac App Store for $50. This comes with the unfortunate bad news however. Aside from the massive 12GB file size you'll need to be downloading, apparently the developer of the game, Aspyr, claims that 2012 MacBook Pros with the Nvidia 650M graphics card are not yet supported. Black Ops will not be able to run on some MacBook Airs and Pros. Visit the Mac App Store to see if you've got a supported graphics card and minimum performance to run and gun your online multiplayer heart away. Windows users must be hard at work laughing their butts off.
