Element Case Solace iPhone 5s Case Review

High-end case maker Element Case is known to make the headlines each time it produces a new case, and of course it means that we're all in for a one sweet treat that is sure to leave behind a few cavities in the form of a significant dent in the wallet department. But this time things have changed since we reviewed the hybrid Sector 5 bumper turned case. What once were lavish and over engineered case offerings with a closely guarded bulgy price tag, are now a bit more down to earth and a lot more sensible than ever before.

The perfect example is Element Case's new Solace case for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5, the company's latest premium case with a lethal modern interpretation of the pricy Ronin case, but with a price that's somewhat easier to swallow. The Solace case features a hybrid design with svelte styling and bits of high-grade materials of which Element Case is best known for - machined anodized aluminum alloy. We'll tell you more about it in our full review after the break!

Spigen Ultra Hybrid iPhone 5s Case Review

What if you could take Spigen's ultra tough and ruggedized Tough Armor and Slim Armor S cases and turn them into more slimmer protective cases that would better showcase your iPhone 5s or iPhone 5 while also enabling you to customize them using a slew of colorful graphic art designs? Well, you can and there's a new case that does just that. Spigen's Ultra Hybrid is a case that combines the best features of the Tough Armor case with a transparent see-through back design all while reducing the thickness and bulk of Spigen's toughest and most protective case ever. But there's more to it, so be sure to make your way down below to our full review of the Ultra Hybrid!

SwitchEasy Numbers Case for iPhone 5s Review

Although SwitchEasy is most known for its unique and audacious case designs, it does have a number of really minimalist and basic cases that are simplistic by the very definition. SwitchEasy's new Numbers case for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c is just that, simple but protective. But that's not all it is, the Numbers case is one of SwitchEasy's more affordable offerings and even so, it doesn't skip on small details like defensive features. Check out the full review to find out what we think of it!

SwitchEasy Melt Case for iPhone 5s Review

SwitchEasy is notoriously known for its innovative, out-of-the-box way of thinking when it comes to iPhone cases. Alas, our most recent run-in with the company's Shades case has not impressed us one bit. This time we've got our hands on a more familiar case design rehashed from the past and it's now even better than it ever was when we first reviewed it for the iPhone 4S. It's called the Melt case and it's available for both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. A dripping, melting, visually catching case that won't cause a mess on the carpet but it will have people questioning why you put your case inside a microwave. If you're on the lookout for a truly unique iPhone case, you'll want to check out our full review of the Melt case after the jump!

SwitchEasy Shades iPhone 5s Case Review

Now that we've concluded our reviews of Apple's official cases for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, it's time that we check out what third party case makers have been up to. Starting with SwitchEasy. This company has been around for the longest time making some amazingly unique cases for Apple's iPhones since day one. And every case SwitchEasy would release went on to become a smashing success. This time, SwitchEasy's Shades case for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 caught us off guard. The Shades case is rocking a curved body lacquered with glosses-up polycarbonate, isn't apologetic about it, and sells itself as an elegant, all-around protective case featuring a translucent gradient colored shell as its name suggests. But before you grab this shady case and hit up the beach, there are a few things you should know first.

Lunatik Seismik iPhone 5 Case Review

While it pains me when I've got to give up using a case like the one I've been recently using and have reviewed, the Ronin Titanium G10 by Element Case, to continue on with having to spend time testing out the next case which happens to be the Seismik case for the iPhone 5, surprisingly the transition from an ultra-premium $350 case to a regular one that costs $35 isn't as bad as you would think.

Leaving behind such a special case is something you wouldn't want to be doing willingly. Fortunately, I do enjoy a superb non-premium case with cool features once in a while and that case just so happens to be the Seismik. A case made by Lunatik, designed by the renowned design firm MNML and made available for the iPhone 5 and now also the Seismik Touch for the iPod touch 5, the Seismik is a special kind of case in its own right. Let's go have a closer look at what the Seismik has got to offer in exchange for $35 down below.

PowerSkin Battery Case for iPhone 5 Review

When it comes to battery-boosting cases for the iPhone we all know they are far from perfect and most of the time, too bulky. The iPhone battery has always been a concern for most people so companies are always looking at new ideas to create that perfect battery packed case. Well PowerSkin is at it again with its new PowerSkin battery case made for the iPhone 5. So what separates this from any other battery case for the iPhone? This sleek bad boy sports a one-piece silicone design instead of the rock solid slider style cases such as Mophie's Juice Pack Helium and Juice Pack Air iPhone 5 battery cases. So is the PowerSkin worth the $79.99 price tag and more importantly is it a reliable source of power for those road trips? Check out the full review next to see if the PowerSkin holds its own against the competition.

Desmay New Slight 5 iPhone 5 Case Review

Desmay made a name for itself when it released the Slight series of ultra-slim cases. Desmay's iPhone 5 cases are highly regarded under the minimalist-style case sector. The latest case to come from Desmay is the New Slight 5, an iPhone 5 case so slim it requires a delicate touch. Calling this 0.35mm thick case slim is wrong. It's insanely thin is what it actually is. Desmay is so thrilled about it that it is calling it the world's thinnest and lightest case, thin and light it is, but it isn't the only case around with such prowess based on our recent Gadgetmac Guide where we hunted down and listed 15 of our favorite top slim iPhone 5 cases. We're also going to take a look at Desmay's The Glossy, a thin and elegant case for the iPhone 5 with a glossy surface of course. If thin case protection is what you're looking for, our review will point you towards the right direction.
