Mechanical keyboards are back from the dead, in style and better than ever. Today's keyboards are all about being as stealthy as a hovering black ninja in complete darkness. Like many of you out there, I love me my silent and squishy keyboard keys with an extra layer of silence that is a silicone keyboard cover. But that all changed when I went mechanical. Having had no real experience using the full frontal mechanical keyboards of today, I went in head first not knowing what sort of madness will come out from Das Keyboard. The company is known to have one of the best mechanical keyboards known to man. And they've just released a Mac version, the Model S Professional for Mac. The full review awaits you after the cut!

Mobee Magic Numpad for Magic Trackpad Review

What's this sorcery you ask? It's Mobee's third magical offering and the answer to those of you who use a Magic Trackpad, use Apple's Wireless Keyboard and miss the good old days when keyboards came with a numeric keypad. Logitech's latest keyboard is wireless, slim and runs on free solar energy. Did we get your attention? The Wireless Solar Keyboard or K750 for short, it Logitech's first ever solar powered wireless keyboard and now it's available for Mac users. Oh yes, Apple's battery muncher of a wireless keyboard is in for some steep competition as far as I can tell. The world would be a better place if every wireless gadget was powered by the sun, thankfully Logitech is one of the few starting to implement good old solar power into consumer products and the neatest way possible. One of the biggest limitations found in Apple's gigantic 27" iMac and LED Cinema Display alike is the lack of HDMI inputs. Apple's proprietary Mini DisplayPort limits the compatibility with other devices like gaming consoles, movie players and other devices that use HDMI connection. The Kanex XD is the solution for iMac users who always wanted to put that expensive 27" LED backlit display to good use for watching Blu-ray movies and owning noobs using their favorite consoles. You need the right tool to get all of that done, and the Kanex XD is that tool inclosed inside a beautiful aluminum enclosure begging to be paired together with your Apple display.

Companies have been adding more bells and whistles to their basic drives to entice buyers into sticking to their product. The big names such as Seagate and Western Digital added lines with interchangeable docks and different software for data management. The other day we received a Western Digital My Passport Studio external hard drive which is unique that it boasts an e-ink external display which allows you to add custom labels and view the remaining capacity of the drive.
