Apple's New Product Event Is Tomorrow, Here's What To Expect
Apple's "Hey Siri" special keynote announcement will begin tomorrow morning where the company is expected to announce some of its new products including the 4.-7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, a new Apple Watch Sport aluminum color (gold most likely) –including more Sport band color options like red and yellow, a thinner iPad mini 4 with an improved laminated Retina display as well as a faster A9 processor to support split-view multitasking on iOS 9, and possibly the largest iPad yet - the iPad Pro with a 13-inch super-Retina display.
Of course, tomorrow's highly anticipated releases are the next-generation iPhone models, which will look identical to their predecessors apart from a new fourth rose gold colorway, but will be made out of a lighter yet stronger "harder-to-bend" 700 series aluminum with a thicker anodization layer for improved color durability. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are likely to include an improved version of Apple's Force Touch technology for detecting pressure inputs on the display, better front and rear-facing camera with more megapixels and 4K video recording capabilities, a faster A9 processor with 2GB of RAM. Some other notable new features, or more like eye-candy iOS 9 enhancements, said to launch only on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are Apple Watch-like animated lockscreen backgrounds. Because why not?
We also expect to see Apple release a long-awaited fourth-generation Apple TV update running a reimagined tvOS, a new compact Wireless Keyboard with a built-in rechargeable battery and backlit keys, as well as other accessories like official Apple-made cases for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Although we are still unsure whether or not the new iPhones, being that they'll be slightly thicker due to the reinforced aluminum construction, will require newly designed cases in order to fit the changes in dimensions correctly. To find out first hand, be sure to set your alarm clocks to 10AM PDT tomorrow, September 9, and your Safari browser to this page to watch Apple's special event live.
