Bang & Olufsen's BeoPlay A6 Is A Stunningly Unique Wireless Speaker

Bang & Olufsen just unveiled its newest wireless speaker system called the BeoPlay A6 designed by famed Danish designer Jakob Wagner. Billed as a high-end wireless AirPlay and Bluetooth-capable speaker system for home or office enjoyment and covered in beautifully textured Kvadrat textile, the BeoPlay A6's uniquely designed contoured body and five perfectly angled speaker drivers means that it can delivers spacious and detailed sound no matter where it's placed or where you stand. It can be hung on a wall, put in a corner or simply placed anywhere you'd like thanks to some clever thinking by Bang & Olufsen and the A6's unique shape along with predefined audio positioning modes that can effectively spread sound all around the room.

You can take control of your music using the BeoPlay A6's intuitive touch-sensitive interface at the top. Sliding your fingers across the sleek curvature can increase or decrease the volume, while tapping will mute or change tracks.

Under the hood, the BeoPlay A6 packs two front-facing two 60 watt 5.5-inch woofers, two 30 watt 3/4' tweeters and a single 60 watt back-firing full range 1.5-inch driver. The BeoPlay A6 does have a grab handle but isn't designed to be portable as it requires an external power source.

The BeoPlay A6 can be wirelessly paired over WiFi, AirPlay, DLNA or Bluetooth 4.0. And with Bang & Olufsen's BeoLink Multiroom technology, the BeoPlay A6 can be be wirelessly paired up with multiple speakers throughout the home.
