Sony SRS-X3 Portable Wireless Speaker Review

The thing about portable speakers is that while they make listening to music super conveniant and more social in a mobile lifestlye, most of the ones that you can actually carry around with you willingily aren't capable of providing a that low-end bass you otherwise hear when listening to a large speaker setup, which typically means you can't fit that kind of audio gear into your backpack or move it around as effortlessly as a more compact portable speaker like the $150 JBL Charge 2 and many others. We do know of one such device capable of delivering a convincing amount of bass while still being an extremely easy to carry wireless speaker, and that's the Bose SoundLink Mini. It wasn't until recently that we had trouble finding a portable speaker that was as small as the SoundLink Mini and that could also match its outstanding level of audio richness.

We're talking of course about Sony's SRS-X3. As of today, we think that it's Sony's best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker you can buy that's as moderately sized as many other highly popular and noteworthy alternatives such as the UE Boom, JBL Charge 2 and the Bose SoundLink Mini itself. Sony is clearly taking a jab at Bose with its similarly specced and more competitively priced SRS-X3 speaker. Can Sony's $150 SRS-X3 beat the more expensive $200 SoundLink Mini at its own game? Solarade Portable USB Solar Charger Review

Out of all the Kickstarter products that were recently introduced into the consumer market, the Solarade has got to be our favorite new gadget that sadly didn't receive the recognition it deserved. Designed by a small independent design studio and manufactured in Korea using U.S-made components, the Solarade bills itself as the world's smallest solar charger that is capable of charging virtually any USB-powered device out at a remote location as fast as you can charge at home. It's the slimmest, most lightweight and minimally designed solar panel charger we've seen so far that's as functional as that white USB power adapter you use to charge your iPhone with.

And yes, if you can't live without your technology outdoors you can use the Solarade to individually charge your tablet, your phone, camera, flashlight and pretty much anything else that can be charged over a USB connection. That's because the Solarade claims that it's the most compact portable solar panel charger on the market that's capable of delivering true 1A (5V) output current through its USB charging port using a powerfully efficient 5Watt solar panel. Meaning it's as quick of a natural energy source charger as a typical USB wall charger, and that is without a doubt an impressive feature to have when it comes to portable solar energy. Logitech G502 Proteus Core vs. G402 Hyperion Fury Review

Logitech has recently come out with two new hyperbolical wired gaming mice promising speed, accuracy, agility and potentially unimaginable gaming performance prowess. The astonishingly futurist looking G502 Proteus Core (left) is Logitech's first weight-adjustable performance mouse featuring the company's advanced Delta Zero gaming-grade optical sensor capable of reaching super-human DPI levels of up to 12,000 without dreadful cursor acceleration, as well as an improved hyper-fast scroll wheel. And for those on a stricter budget, there's the new G402 Hyperion Fury gaming mouse. And although it does come with less premium features and a cheaper price tag compared to the G502, as its name suggest, the G402 is supposedly the world's fastest lab-developed mouse geared towards professional FPS gaming thanks to its gyro and accelerometer-enhanced Fusion Engine hybrid Delta Zero sensor technology, which is capable of tracking insanely fast hand movements of up to 500 ips without skipping a single beat. Bluelounge Soba Review

Bluelounge's newest offering is a yet another stylish organizer in the form of a cable sleeve router. The Soba, as Bluelounge calls it, is a lengthy sleeve tubing made out of a braided nylon fabric material that can expand to fit a mixture of power and data cables while auto-coiling all on its own to snuggly bind your cables into one resilient loom using a so-called Vortex technology in an attempt to rid you from that awful-looking cable clutter lurking behind or underneath your desk in arguably the most professional way possible. While not the first of its kind, the Soba is the most aesthetically pleasing cable routing solution we've seen yet. Just Mobile AluPen Digital Stylus Review

Just Mobile made a lot of headlines when it released its thick pencil-shaped all-aluminum stylus a few years ago. And now the company is following up with its brand new take on the powered and so-called smart stylus market with the AluPen Digital. It's a beautifully designed, super-sensitive aluminum hybrid stylus with an extremely fine tip designed to give you that familiar feeling of using a ball-point pen – only with your tablet or smartphone. And the great thing about the AluPen Digital is that it just works. Straight out of the box. Although it is indeed a powered stylus, there's no Bluetooth pairing or proprietary technology involved to limit its functionality so you can use it with virtually any app that's available for iOS and Android devices. NudeAudio Super-M Portable Wireless Speaker Review

NudeAudio has got a brand new speaker to share with us all, and like many companies these days, NudeAudio is using Kickstarter to fund its new product and create lots of buzz in the process. The Super-M is NudeAudio’s latest portable speaker offering that promises super-high sound performance in a very small and waterproof package that you can slip inside your back pocket. It’s reasonably priced too. Per NudeAudio’s brand philosophy of creating good looking speakers that sound good and not much else without the premium price, the Super-M is the first $100 ultra-portable speaker we’ve come across that is reasonably priced, yet still features a surprisingly promising 6-speaker driver array capable of outputting a compelling 360-degrees worth of audio – all packed into a resilient IPX5-rated waterproof construction that is hardly over an inch thick.
