How A Nikon D3s Survived A Motorcycle Fall
/
A very lucky photojournalist taking photos of a cycling race in Malaysia, was on the back of a speeding motorcycle when he accidentally dropped his precious Nikon D3s camera with a 300mm lens all over the road. The damage was done by a vehicle partially running over it, however the D3s only suffered a little crack in the battery grip and a busted battery door cover. Luckily the camera continued to function normally with the exception of the burst mode not working. The photographer was able to complete his coverage of the race even after the patched up camera was exposed to rain for 4 hours, again on a motorcycle. That's one tough camera for sure. Catch the video interview for more after the break.
