Apple iPhone 6s & iPhone 6s Plus Announced, Pre-Orders Start September 12

Apple officially unveiled its new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus today. The new models look identical to their predecessor as expected, but now a fourth color option has been added to the usual mix of Space Gray, Silver and Gold – a pinkish Rose Gold. Made out of a stronger 700 series aluminum and tougher Ion-X glass, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus feature a faster Touch ID 2 fingerprint sensor, faster wireless antennas, an A9 processor that's up to 70% faster than before with up to 90% faster GPU performance, as well as a 3D Touch Retina display - Apple's iPhone version of Force Touch that can sense light and deep presses for quick access to additional gestures like previewing app and email content without having to open it.

Apple's New Product Event Is Tomorrow, Here's What To Expect

Apple's "Hey Siri" special keynote announcement will begin tomorrow morning where the company is expected to announce some of its new products including the 4.-7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, a new Apple Watch Sport aluminum color (gold most likely) –including more Sport band color options like red and yellow, a thinner iPad mini 4 with an improved laminated Retina display as well as a faster A9 processor to support split-view multitasking on iOS 9, and possibly the largest iPad yet - the iPad Pro with a 13-inch super-Retina display.

JBL Pulse 2 Blows Away Its Predecessor

Now that JBL has officially released its Flip 3 and Xtreme wireless portable speakers in North America, the company's most attractive party starting light-up portable speaker has received a much deserved update. The Pulse 2 now has a more refined interactive multi-colored light up LED panel design that's water-resistant, dual side-firing passive bass radiators that will provide a significant boost in bass performance compared to its predecessor along with larger dual 45mm speaker drivers. Another new and arguably innovative new feature is the inclusion of a color sensor lens at the back of the speaker that allows the Pulse 2 to pick up the surrounding colors of where it sits and projects them on its colorful light display. Scosche Unveils boomBOTTLE Plus Rugged Portable Speaker

Scosche has introduced a new portable Bluetooth speaker today that has been designed for all weather conditions and outdoor adventures. Scosche's boomBOTTLE+ speaker has a ruggedized cylindrical shape so that it can easily fit into most water bottle holders and is fully waterproof, can float on water, and its rubberized shock-absorbing exterior casing offers drop protection. At 8.5-inches tall, the boomBOTTLE+ is roughly the same size as the UE Megaboom –albeit slimmer in diameter – and also features 360-degree audio and dual pairing capabilities for simultaneous pairing of two boomBOTTLE+ speakers to create an immersive stereo experience. ThinCharge Claims To Be The Slimmest iPhone 6 & 6s Battery Case

An Indiegogo campaign for a new battery case claims that it's the world's thinnest and lightest battery case made for the iPhone 6, including the upcoming iPhone 6s. The ThinCharge battery case seems like the perfect solution for those looking for drop protection and extra battery life without the bulk. It's slimmer and considerably shorter compared to Mophie's 0.61"-thick Juice Pack Air, and still provides the same amount of backup power. Featuring a soft-touch, matte finished exterior and a Lightning connector pass-through for charging both the iPhone and the battery case itself, the ThinCharge conceals a 2,600mAh rechargeable battery inside its sleek 0.5"-thick form factor capable of providing a full charge with the press of a button.

ThinCharge is currently being funded on Indiegogo and so far has successfully exceeded its funding goal of $30,000. Early backers of the campaign can pre-order the ThinCharge battery case for the iPhone 6 for $59, which is expected to ship in limited quantities as early as next month. Anyone who pre-orders the case will also have the option of waiting for the iPhone 6s version of the ThinCharge.
