Logitech Outs FabricSkin, Ultrathin Keyboard Folio Cases For iPad Air
/
Logitech has introduced two new fully protective slim keyboard folio cases designed for the iPad Air - the $150 FabricSkin Keyboard Folio featuring a slim design with a seamless fabric-covered and durable water-repellant Bluetooth keyboard integration with a "wipe-clean" surface similar to that of Surface Touch Cover, as well as the $100 Ultrathin Keyboard Folio which is essentially an identical folio cover but features a different Bluetooth keyboard design that isn't water-resistant and has individually laid out keys. It's also marginally thicker than the FabricSkin's built-in keyboard as a result.
The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio and Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for the new iPad Air all provide protection against accidental bumps, scratches and spills while remaining ultra-thin and light. Each is precision engineered from state-of-the-art materials so they are protective, yet ultra-thin and ultra-light to perfectly complement the design of the iPad Air. The tablet keyboards connect using Bluetooth® and feature maximized key size for a fast and fluid typing experience. The folios also double as a stand, adapting to hold your tablet at the right angle for reading, viewing or playing games.
Both of Logitech's keyboard folios cases for the iPad Air have an internal rechargeable battery that is said to last up to three months with use on a single charge, feature SecureLock with a strong magnetic closure mechanism that keeps the folio securely closed, full-sized keys, and the ability to set your iPad Air in two different horizontal viewing angles for a comfortable typing experience.
The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio can now be pre-ordered and is available in three colors, while the Ultrathin Keyboard Folio is available in four colors and can also be pre-ordered starting today. Both are expected to ship in November.
Logitech has also released the Folio Protective Case for the iPad Air which is a non-keyboard identical version of the folio keyboard cases. The thin and lightweight folio case is also made out of durable water-repellent materials, offers several different viewing angles and features the same SecureLock mechanism that secured the iPad Air to the inner low-profile frame along with strong magnets that help keep the folio case securely shut. The Folio Protective Case is also available for pre-order and comes in four colors for $50, and will ship sometime next month.
