This is Lunatik's new AQUATIK case. Arguably the best looking and sleekest waterproof case for the iPhone 6. It's the first waterproof case we've seen that actually doesn't look like one, but rather more like an ordinary stylish protective case thanks to its low-profile and slim design. Don't let the sleek design fool you though because the AQUATIK is built using some tough engineering that meets or exceeds IP68 technical specs and military 810G drop test standards. Billed as Lunatik's slimmest ultra-protective case, the AQUATIK features refined rounded edges, articulating vibrate/mute switch and optimized button tactility, and an easy snap-in two-piece installation design similar to that of a LifeProof case.
Specially designed hydrophobic membranes keep water, sand and dust out of ports and enable sound to travel through the speaker, microphone and earpiece while using the case. A flexible port plug easily opens to enable access to the iPhone 6's Lightning connector port for charging and syncing.
On the outside, the AQUATIK consists of a hard poolycarbonate shell that is seamlessly fused to a non-slip rubberized bumper designed to provide protection against impacts and drops, while the silicone-made shock-absorbing interior suspension core adds an additional drop protection barrier. Instead of using a traditional plastic protector found on most waterproof cases, Lunatik went the extra step to equip the AQUATIK with a more premium built-in Gorilla Glass screen protector with Touch ID support so that users can experience silky smooth touchscreen interaction and unhindered fingerprint sensor functionality. Lunatik's AQUATIK is slated to be released next year in April, and if you're willing to wait that long for it, you can currently pre-order the case for the iPhone 6 in white, black, pink and orange for $100.
