Power Pod Gives You Easier Access To Power Outlets

Makers of LunaTik have created a portable, tabletop power station named Power Pod which is beautifully designed and serves two purposes all at once. The Power Pod offers a portable power source with 6 outlets, surge suppression and features a removable, white ABS plastic accessory tray and a bottom base made out of solid aluminum for when you need all the power you get can at a convenient working level. The Power Pod seems more useful for smaller devices that aren't constantly required to be plugged in like battery chargers and well, any other sort of small gadget chargers you might have. It's available now for $99 over at Coalesse

HP Announces First WiFi Mobile Mouse

While HP's latest WiFi connected wireless mouse isn't going to win any design awards anytime soon, it's the world's first WiFi wireless mouse with an impressive 9-month battery life. No other wireless mouse currently on the market comes even close to this. HP claims it's an easy one-time pairing process on Windows 7 while Mac users will have to settle for their Magic Mouse instead. HP claims that in order to pair over WiFi, a PC running Windows 7 is required. If you're a Mac user, there is nothing here to keep you interested anyway. The 1600cpi laser sensor and 5 programmable buttons are still very basic. The HP WiFi Mobile Mouse will be available in June for $49.99. I think I'll stick with my Razer mice for now.

iWork on iPhone

See that? That's right. iWork on the iPhone and this screen shot confirms it. Stuart Miles at Pocket-lint spotted this in one of the iPhone 4 screen shots. It says "Open in 'Keynote" while viewing an attachment in Mail. Now this should work like the version on the iPad. You an attachment in the mail, and if you have iWork installed you can open it in the iWork suite. However, this has been replaced by a shot saying "Open in iBooks." Well this means that the iWork Suite should make its way across the iOS 4 devices. We will probably hear about this closer to the public iOS 4 launch on June 21st
