OS X Mountain Lion Might Be Too Intense For You To Handle

Just a few months ago, Apple announced their latest OS X Mountain Lion at WWDC. With new features across the board such as Notification Center and iMessages, users have been anticipating its release. Apple has released the golden master build for OS X Mountain Lion and has officially announced which Macs will be supported by their newest operating system. Macrumors has provided a list for supported Macs: 

Your Mac must be one of the following models: 

- iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) 
- MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) 
- MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) 
- Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) 
- Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) 
- Xserve (Early 2009)

It is unfortunate for users who have been waiting so anxiously to be disappointed. On the bright side, this could be a reason for you to upgrade to the latest and greatest Macbooks. Without an official release date for Mountain Lion, we can expect it to be within the next few weeks. 

HP Announces First WiFi Mobile Mouse

While HP's latest WiFi connected wireless mouse isn't going to win any design awards anytime soon, it's the world's first WiFi wireless mouse with an impressive 9-month battery life. No other wireless mouse currently on the market comes even close to this. HP claims it's an easy one-time pairing process on Windows 7 while Mac users will have to settle for their Magic Mouse instead. HP claims that in order to pair over WiFi, a PC running Windows 7 is required. If you're a Mac user, there is nothing here to keep you interested anyway. The 1600cpi laser sensor and 5 programmable buttons are still very basic. The HP WiFi Mobile Mouse will be available in June for $49.99. I think I'll stick with my Razer mice for now. 

Nook Color Gets Updated With Apps, Flash & Email

Nook Color owners will be excited to know that their colorful eReader has now been updated with popular apps such as Angry Birds, Flash for a better web browsing experience, full-featured Nook Email and last but not least, Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The Nook Color looks like a fine entry tablet for its $249 price tag. Download the new Nook Color 1.2 update here.
