Arguably the best docking stand for the iPhone and iPad just got better and more versatile than ever before. The HiRise Deluxe is Twelve South's new and improved all-metal docking stand redesigned with a few fan-requested improvements over the original HiRise including a new gold color and polished chamfered edges. Starting with a more convenient and simplified no-tool adjustment enabling users to slide the rear support backwards or forwards in order to accommodate different types of protective cases using a twist knob at the back instead of having to tighten a few screws on the bottom of the original model.
In addition, the HiRise Deluxe features two included color matched charge and sync cables: an MFi-certified Lightning connector cable, and for the very first time a micro-USB connector cable that Twelve South says will let users dock and charge their devices that are encased inside battery cases like Mophie's Juice Pack Air. You'll obviously be able to now use your Android devices with the HiRise Deluxe thanks to the included micro-USB connector, which is designed to fit the HiRise's height-adjustable connector adapters in order to fit into the numerous thicknesses of protective cases.
Twelve South's HiRise Deluxe is fully compatible with the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 3, iPad mini, iPod touch, and unofficially most other Android and Windows Phone devices. It's available right now in silver, black and gold for $60.
Here it is, Twelve South's HiRise is arguably the best Lightning dock that you can get for the iPhone 6. And not just because it's a beautifully made and designed brushed metal charging dock, but mostly because it's one of the more versatile Lightning docks around. It's designed to fit the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5. It'll even adjust to accommodate an iPad mini thanks to a case-friendly adjustable back support design and Lightning connector adapters that you can swap to fit different thickness of protective iPhone and iPad cases.
Have you ever wondered what a gear bag would look like if it were a giant ass vintage-looking book? Now you know. Twelve South's new BookBook Travel Journal is a peculiar protective hardback gear case (or briefcase as Twelve South calls it) made out of genuine vintage-looking leather and styled to look like the rest of Twelve South's BookBook case offerings.
Featuring a dual-zippered opening, it can hold any iPad model including the iPad Air or an iPad mini inside a dedicated and padded slip-compartment, along with a few other essential items like your fold-flat headphones (shown here with the BeoPlay H6 by B&O headphones), MacBook or iPad chargers, cables, and other small accessories you'd need to carry with you which can be organized neatly thanks to pockets and adjustable straps across the interior. Twelve South's BookBook Travel Journal is available now for $100.
Twelve South has introduced the HiRise for both the iPhone 5 and iPad mini, a $35 uniquely designed brushed metal desktop stand dock that utilizes your Lightning cable to form a charging plinth which also puts your iPhone or iPad mini as a much closer viewing level as does Twelve South's HiRise for the iMac. Aside from its wide sturdy base and narrow Lightning connector stem that doesn't block the headphone port, mic and speaker of your iPhone 5, the HiRise stand features a height-adjustable Lightning connector along with an adjustable back support that allows it to fit virtually any slim and bulky iPhone 5 and iPad mini case with a recessed connection port opening including but of course Twelve South's BookBook vinage leather wallet case.
If you're looking for a hands-free stand with built-in charging functionality that you could actually use with your iPhone or iPad still attached, the HiRise seems to fit the bill without costing more than a regular protective case. We can only assume that Apple's next generation iPhone 5S will work with the HiRise thanks to its adjustable features so you could say it's a future-proof stand dock. It's worth noting that the HiRise also works with other Lightning connector Apple devices like the iPod touch 5 and 7th generation iPod nano.

Twelve South's new SurfacePad for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4/S is the company's second incredibly innovative protective handset cover designed as a wafer-thin and lightweight luxurious folio cover that's 1.7mm thick. The SurfacePad wraps around the iPhone à la Smart Cover - keeping it protected from the simple things in life with a minimalist approach. The SurfacePad's low-profile design extenuates the iPhone 5 by covering up less. It adheres to the back of the iPhone using a special adhesive that's strong yet durable enough to allow for numerous re-applications and uses without leaving residue behind.
Twelve South's SurfacePad cover case is made from genuine full-grain Napa leather, and can fold up into a hands-free stand thanks to the built-in stand sewn into the back cover. It also features a rear camera cutout and soft microfiber front cover lining. The SurfacePad for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4/S is now available in red, white and black for $35.
