Arguably the best docking stand for the iPhone and iPad just got better and more versatile than ever before. The HiRise Deluxe is Twelve South's new and improved all-metal docking stand redesigned with a few fan-requested improvements over the original HiRise including a new gold color and polished chamfered edges. Starting with a more convenient and simplified no-tool adjustment enabling users to slide the rear support backwards or forwards in order to accommodate different types of protective cases using a twist knob at the back instead of having to tighten a few screws on the bottom of the original model.

In addition, the HiRise Deluxe features two included color matched charge and sync cables: an MFi-certified Lightning connector cable, and for the very first time a micro-USB connector cable that Twelve South says will let users dock and charge their devices that are encased inside battery cases like Mophie's Juice Pack Air. You'll obviously be able to now use your Android devices with the HiRise Deluxe thanks to the included micro-USB connector, which is designed to fit the HiRise's height-adjustable connector adapters in order to fit into the numerous thicknesses of protective cases.

Logitech's Ultrathin 2 Is The New iPad Keyboard Cover You've Been Waiting For

Logitech has announced that it has made a new and improved Ultrathin 2 keyboard cover for the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display today with improved flexibility and a more refined design compared to its predecessor - the original Ultrathin. The updated model is thinner at 6.4mm (compared to 7.3mm), and thanks to its rigid aluminum construction, it's also 2/3 the weight of iPad. Improvements in the Ultrathin 2 keyboard cover include a newly designed flexible multi-angle stand which securely holds onto your iPad while allowing you to pivot and adjust the viewing angle smoothly like a laptop screen in multiple angles.

With a built-in rechargeable battery that Logitech claims will last up to 3 months with 2 hours of daily usage, the Ultrathin's Bluetooth keyboard features well-spaced keys with an optimized layout – complete with iOS shortcuts – to provide a familiar, fluid and comfortable typing experience.

Have you ever wondered what a gear bag would look like if it were a giant ass vintage-looking book? Now you know. Twelve South's BookBook Travel Journal is available now for $100.

eleMount Sticks On Anything To Mount Your Smartphone, Tablet

eleMount is one of the latest Kickstarter accessories to offer a simple and versatile mounting solution for smartphones and small tablets alike. The eleMount sells itself as a premium, universal aluminum mount that uses special, reusable adhesive sticky pads called elePads which form a strong bond on any flat surface without leaving behind any residue. The eleMount uses two of these elePads to secure itself onto car windshields, desks while the other lets you securely mount any smartphone or tablet like the iPad that has a flat smooth back, in either vertical or horizontal orientation. For movement, the eleMount's metal ball joint offers a firm 360-degree viewing angle adjustment without clamping down any locking mechanism. Unscrewing its bottom elePad reveals a threaded 1/4" 20 tripod adapter.

eleMount’s simple and sleek design is due in part to its proprietary elePads, which eliminate the need for unsightly plastic locks and clamps. These polyurethane pads stick to almost any flat surface for incredible versatility, while their edgeless design supports a wide range of devices including iPhone 4/4s, iPhone 5, iPad, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Tab, HTC One and many more. The elePad’s easy-to-use design works just as you’d expect. Simply mount the elePad to any clean, dry surface, apply pressure and you're done.

Although eleMount specifically claims to work on smooth flat surfaces, devices like the HTC One and Moto X which have a tapered back design to them will also work with the eleMount due to the large elePads and their great sticky compound. Early backers can secure an eleMount in either black or silver anodized and sandblasted matte finish for $59. For people who are more interested in the universal tripod mount side, there's the eleMount mini which is the same as the original model but without the elePad bottom portion that screws on and off.

Twelve South HiRise, The Tallest Charging Dock For iPhone 5 & iPad mini

Twelve South has introduced the HiRise for both the iPhone 5 and iPad mini, a $35 uniquely designed brushed metal desktop stand dock that utilizes your Lightning cable to form a charging plinth which also puts your iPhone or iPad mini as a much closer viewing level as does Twelve South's HiRise for the iMac. Aside from its wide sturdy base and narrow Lightning connector stem that doesn't block the headphone port, mic and speaker of your iPhone 5, the HiRise stand features a height-adjustable Lightning connector along with an adjustable back support that allows it to fit virtually any slim and bulky iPhone 5 and iPad mini case with a recessed connection port opening including but of course Twelve South's BookBook vinage leather wallet case.

If you're looking for a hands-free stand with built-in charging functionality that you could actually use with your iPhone or iPad still attached, the HiRise seems to fit the bill without costing more than a regular protective case. We can only assume that Apple's next generation iPhone 5S will work with the HiRise thanks to its adjustable features so you could say it's a future-proof stand dock. It's worth noting that the HiRise also works with other Lightning connector Apple devices like the iPod touch 5 and 7th generation iPod nano.

Twelve South's HiRise for the iPhone and iPad mini is now available. Check out the video of how it all comes together after the break.

Just Mobile Announces AluFrame, AluPocket, AluCup, Gum Max Dual iDevice Accessories

One of our favorite companies for all-things Apple accessories is doing it big at CES 2013. Just Mobile's new line of Apple-focused accessories includes some really cool products most of which are aluminum-centric and made for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The first on the list is Just Mobile's $30 AluPocket, a peculiar looking object is believe it or not a plastic and aluminum constructed mount that can fit any iPhone model with or without a protective case. The back features 3M adhesive strips for effortless mounting and removal from walls and other flat surfaces you'd like to mount your iPhone to. We're honestly not so sure how practical a wall mount for an iPhone is, but the AluPocket is also designed to route a charger cable thru it, essentially transforming it into a wall mounted charging dock.

Just Mobile has also introduced the $109 Gum Max Dual, a high-capacity battery backup charger that's essentially a more rugged version of the company's aluminum constructed Gum Max, albeit with a massive 11,200mAh internal battery capacity. The Gum Max Dual is wrapped in a thick silicone sleeve that can be removed and replaced with a different color without obstructing the LED battery level gauge. It also features two USB charging ports - one powerful enough to output 2.4A of power for quick and efficient charging of a tablet such as the iPad and iPad mini while the other provides 1A of power suitable for charging up an iPhone or iPod. Like the ones before it, the Gum Max Dual will not include any charging cables except for a micro-USB cable to charge the unit itself.

For the first time, Just Mobile has introduced an iPhone case called the AluFrame. It's a $59 bumper-style aluminum constructed case designed with chamfered edges that tie in with the iPhone 5's original design as much as possible while adding some protection. The AluFrame features an integrated volume rocker, a sleep/wake button and can be installed easily with a push a button. No tools or screws required.
