Logitech's iPhone 5 Gamepad Controller Leaked

There are rumors saying that Apple has been working with Logitech to create the first ever Made for iPhone controller accessory, and this is it. Logitech's G series gamepad controller for the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5. The controller has what looks like a soft-touch rubbery finish and a well rounded shape featuring a basic control interface including a thumbstick and a traditional d-pad button arrangement on the right side with a passive sound port that will help direct the sound coming from the iPhone 5's speaker. iOS 7 will natively support third party controllers. We're sure many more controllers will find their way onto the iPhone accessory market.

Glas.t Nano Slim By Spigen, World's Thinnest Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Samsung Galaxy S4 users better rejoice, Spigen has released the world's thinnest tempered glass screen protector with the new Glas.t Nano Slim. Available only for the Galaxy S4 for $35 - until Spigen decides to release an iPhone 5 variant and we hope it does soon, the new Glas.t Nano Slim features an Oleophobic coating and a thickness of just 0.15mm. That is insanely thin for a tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H. The Glas.t Nano Slim is so thin that it does not interfere with the S-View Cover and Flip Cover accessories. Because it's so thin, the Galaxy S4's home button is no longer recessed by the glass compared to thicker versions of Spigen's Glas.t.

Generally, glass screen protectors are preferred over plastic ones because they offer unparalleled touchscreen interaction, shatter-resistant protection and tougher scratch resistance.

PlayStation 4 Console Hardware Unveiled, Priced At $400

Sony finally unveiled its PlayStation 4 console hardware today at E3, and it isn't looking very interesting to say the least. The slanted blocky shaped design looks outdated, a step back compared to Sony's PlayStation 3 Slim. By comparison, the Xbox One's $500 hardware is a clear aesthetic winner. We do like the new DualShock 4 controller and its touchpad awesomeness though. The PlayStation 4 is priced at $400, a more compelling price point compared to the Xbox One.

PlayStation®4 was designed from the ground up to ensure that game creators can unleash their imaginations to develop the very best games and deliver new play experiences never before possible.

With ultra-fast customized processors and 8GB of high-performance unified system memory, PS4™ is the home to games with rich, high-fidelity graphics and deeply immersive experiences that shatter expectations.

If you don't recall, Sony announced the DualShock 4 along with the specs of the PlayStation 4 back in February. The console specs include an 8-core Jaguar AMD CPU with AMD graphics, 8GB of GDDR5 memory, a built-in hard drive for storage and naturally a Blu-ray drive. The specs line up with what you'll find inside the Xbox One, but we're not seeing Sony boast the same kind of claims Microsoft has made regarding its Xbox One's ultra-fast instant-on boot up times, user interface responsiveness and intelligent game-download technology...yet.

The DUALSHOCK 4 controller incorporates a new highly sensitive six-axis sensor, as well as a touch pad located on the top of the controller, which offers gamers completely new ways to play and interact with games.

The newly developed PlayStation Camera for PlayStation 4 incorporates two high-sensitive cameras that have wide-angle lenses with 85-degree diagonal angle views which can recognize the depth of space precisely.

Update: Looks like the official release date for the PlayStation 4 is December 31 of this year.

The New 2013 Black Mac Pro

We expected some new hardware to be announced by Apple today at the WWDC, and so we got an entirely new and powerful Mac Pro so drastically unique that it could have easily fell out of some alien spaceship. The new 2013 black Mac Pro as we shall now call it, is a thing of bold beauty. An innovative marvel that has put Apple ahead of the industrial design curve once again. Standing just 9.9-inches tall with a diameter of only 6.6-inches, the new black Mac Pro is ridiculously more compact than its silvery aluminum predecessor. It too is made using a machined aluminum enclosure yet it's finished with a polished black finish which is a surprising first for Apple. It's also assembled in the USA. The black, polished cylindrical-shaped Mac Pro may resemble a posh trash can to some though.

But it's what's on the inside the really matters. The new black Mac Pro packs an impressive line of specs for such a compact form factor. It's twice as fast than its predecessor thanks to a 12-Core Intel Xeon CPU, and it also has new ECC memory yielding double the performance from past variants and PCI express-based flash storage that is more than twice as fast as before clocking in 1.25GBps read and 1GBps write speeds. It also features the latest WiFi 802.11ac standard, faster backwards-compatible Thunderbolt 2, dual-workstation AMD FirePro GPUs that support up to three high-resolution 4K external monitors and a host of backlit I/O. Thunderbolt 2 is used to support and transfer 4K video resolution between compatible external displays.

To keep things cool, Apple designed a unified thermal core to absorb heat from the internal hardware that surrounds it using a single, large turbine-like fan that sucks out the hot air captured by the aluminum-made core. The fan blades are designed to operate more quieter, and are similar in design to the ones Apple used to design the Retina MacBook Pro. Apple hasn't divulged over a release date or price unfortunately.

iOS 7 Officially Announced, Coming This Fall

After Apple revealed OS X Mavericks today at WWDC, the company went on to announce a totally redesigned and highly anticipated iOS 7. Compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 including the iPod touch 5 and iPad 2, 3, 4 and mini - iOS 7 is as majestic as we've imagined it to be and it'll be ready for us all this fall. Simplified to the utmost extreme, iOS 7 features a completely new and much simplified lock screen which features direct access to a new feature called Control Center by swiping up from the bottom at any given moment and place. The same can be done to bring up Notification Center by pulling down from the top. The user interface has been revamped with smooth transition animation and sleek typography that'll satisfy just about every existing iOS user and Apple fanperson.
