Spigen Intros Teka Aluminum In-Ear Headphones

If you like their protective smartphone and tablet cases, chances are that you'll also like their new in-ear headphones. That's right, Spigen's foray into the audio market is as real as it gets. Though for all we know these can simply be another rebranded pair of in-ears from an OEM. Not that it really matters as long as don't fall short. The Teka are Spigen's first Beats-inspired in-ear headphones crafted from aluminum with a wallet-friendly price tag. Like the Nocs NS500 Aluminum, the Teka's aluminum housing features diamond-cut chamfered edges, because we all know chamfered aluminum is really a must on anything that wants to look a bit more premium.

Spigen Intros Champagne Gold Tough Armor, Neo Hybrid, Ultra Hybrid Slim EX iPhone 5s Cases

If the golden brushed aluminum Saturn iPhone 5s case wasn't enough, Spigen has come out with new champagne gold colored editions of its most popular hybrid dual-layered cases that perfectly match and compliment the new gold iPhone 5s. Spigen's $29 Ultra Hybrid Slim EX Metal bumper case reveals the iPhone 5s' golden aluminum design while the $30 Neo Hybrid (middle) and $25 Tough Armor (right) cases offer the most drop and impact protection out of the three, and feature a two-tone light gold and black colorway. Spigen's new champagne gold iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 cases are available now, but are expected to start shipping in mid-October.

Spigen Releases iPhone 5S Cases With Air Cushion Protection

Although not officially announced, Spigen has taken the liberty to start naming its new cases as iPhone 5S compatible. And of course, presumably there won't be any design differences, any iPhone 5S case will also be backwards compatible with the iPhone 5. Spigen has released what it claims to be its most protective and rugged case yet, the Tough Armor - a dual-layer Slim Armor-follow up case featuring a TPU layer with air-gap corners that help absorb shock and impacts as well as a hard outer polycarbonate shell. Lastly, an extra thick lip periphery will protect the iPhone's screen even when using a tempered glass screen protector. Spigen claims that its Touch Armor case is thinner and less bulkier than some of Otterbox's extremely protective cases, yet even so it offers the same amount of protection thanks to how it has been designed. The Touch Armor case is now available for $30 in multiple colors, and fits both the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S.

Spigen's second new case release to feature its air cushioning technology is called the Ultra Hybrid, which is a slim combination of a shock-absorbing TPU band featuring Spigen's air-gap corner protection melded with a crystal clear hard polycarbonate back design. The Ultra Hybrid's TPU band creates an even raised protection on either side to help protect both the iPhone's screen as well as the clear hard polycarbonate back from getting scratched from various surfaces. Spigen's Ultra Hybrid case is compatible with both the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, comes in black or gray and sells for $13.

Glas.t Nano Slim By Spigen, World's Thinnest Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Samsung Galaxy S4 users better rejoice, Spigen has released the world's thinnest tempered glass screen protector with the new Glas.t Nano Slim. Available only for the Galaxy S4 for $35 - until Spigen decides to release an iPhone 5 variant and we hope it does soon, the new Glas.t Nano Slim features an Oleophobic coating and a thickness of just 0.15mm. That is insanely thin for a tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H. The Glas.t Nano Slim is so thin that it does not interfere with the S-View Cover and Flip Cover accessories. Because it's so thin, the Galaxy S4's home button is no longer recessed by the glass compared to thicker versions of Spigen's Glas.t.

Generally, glass screen protectors are preferred over plastic ones because they offer unparalleled touchscreen interaction, shatter-resistant protection and tougher scratch resistance.

Spigen's Slim Armor Color Cases Look Deliciously Awesome

Thinking about pulling the trigger on one of the three good looking metallic Slim Armor cases available? You might want to hold off if you've got a favorite color other than graphite, silver or slate. Word on the street is that Spigen will soon release a slew of 7 colorful Slim Armor Color cases for the iPhone 5 following the widely popular metallic variants released not long ago. Spigen's new Slim Armor Color series of cases mimic the iPhone 5's dual color tone styling and grainy aluminum texture. The Slim Armor case is a slim drop protective case made up of two types of layers, a matte hard polycarbonate middle shell and a flexible shock-absorbing TPU body. For $18 a pop, who wouldn't want them all? Be on the lookout, these Pantone-flavored cases should hit Spigen's online store any day now.

It's also very costly. Spigen's new Glas tempered glass screen protector is now available for the iPad mini for $58. The 0.4mm-thick Oleophobic coated Glas comes in both white and black colored translucent frames that entirely cover and protect the iPad mini's glass display without impeding on the touchscreen sensitivity and smooth glass feel.
