There's only one company that stands out like a sore thumb from all the rest when looking for that next iPad case. Twelve South not only thinks different, it has completely dedicated itself to making really unique products for Mac and iOS devices only. We've had the chance to review the BookBook for the iPhone and MacBook Air, and we fell deeply in love with the concept ever since. Twelve South has re-written the original BookBook for the iPad and recently released the second iteration entitled BookBook Vol 2, and it's better than it ever was before. It only took Apple more than a year, but it finally decided to come out with a proper protection solution for both of its iPad 2 and iPad 3rd Gen wonder tablets. It's called the Smart Case, Apple's latest and greatest iPad accessory. Apple did pretty well when it released the iPad Case for the original iPad, yet failed with its more magical Smart Cover that debuted alongside the iPad 2 which offered lackluster protection and iffy functionality.
Come 2012, the Smart Case picks off where the Smart Cover left off offering front to back protection just as we all complained for. The question is, is your money best spent on Apple's third attempt at satisfying iPad users with the Smart Case? There's only one way to find out! Our full detailed review is after the cut.Read More
As amazing of a device as the iPad is, I feel its usefulness is somewhat lacking without a good case. With a bare iPad, there’s no way to tilt it on a desktop to type/view photos/videos, and an iPad without a case is a delicate device, with its shiny glass and aluminum surfaces exposed. Fortunately, not too long after the launch of the most recent 3rd generation iPad, Incipio already had cases shipping for the new Apple device. Today we are taking a look at their latest and greatest offering for the new iPad, the Incipio Flagship Folio. Head past the break for more!
Pinlo's latest case offering for the iPad 3rd Gen as well as the unforgettable iPad 2, is of the folio type and called the Noir Italian Leather Case, or Noir for short. SGP is the underdog when you think about leather cases and not particularly the first brand one would think about when wanting to get a quality leather case. SGP's leather cases have impressed us time and time again due to their quality and price. There's a lot of very similar folio cases made for the iPad 2 to choose from like the Mivizu Sense, and this time we're going to take a look at the Leinwand leather folio case for the iPad 2 our friends over at Cretouch sent us over. It might look like another Smart Cover-esque leather folio case, but it's designed a bit differently from the rest boasting four different types of angles to position your iPad 2 in.
