Apple LED TV Coming?

Rumors are going around that Apple is working on an actual Apple Television, not to be confused with the Apple TV. Apple posted a new job listing seeking people to work on a next-generation power supply technology.

Apple states that this job position - "primarily involves high-density offline power supply's development for Apple's next generation Macintosh platforms spanning from notebook computers, desktop computers, servers, standalone displays and TV." Yes that's right, TV! Notice how Apple separated "TV" from "standalone displays". Apple did not even mention their little streaming accessory, the Apple TV. What will be the price point of a large LED TV from Apple is hard to say. Apple's current 27-inch LED Cinema Display is priced at $999.

iPhone 5 Rumored To Get A 4-inch Screen?

Rumors about the iPhone 5 are blazing around the web this past month about iPhone nanos and newer and faster Apple A5 processor, but a more notable rumor is that the iPhone 5 will get a bigger display than the current 3.5" and it's now rumored that the iPhone 5 will get a bigger 4" display. This sounds like something Apple will finally do since all the past iPhone models up to now have all had the same 3.5" screen size and it's about time we get some more screen real estate. A 4.3" display sounds more realistic if Apple does decide to go ahead with a larger display. At this day and age, bigger displays on mobile phones is a necessity and I think it's a big possibility that we will see a bigger display on the upcoming iPhone 5.

Apple To Remove Home Button From iPad & iPhone?

It's rumored that Apple will remove the iconic home button from their upcoming updated iPad and iPhone. Instead of using the home button, you will be able to use the new and upcoming multitouch gestures found in the upcoming iOS 4.3 update. This all makes perfect sense and will most likely allow for a much bigger touch screen on the iPhone. It was said that Steve Jobs never actually wanted any buttons on the original iPhone and with Apple's superb multitouch functionality, it may very be a possibility in the near future.
