Ag++ Aluminum Bumper Case, Another iPhone Bumper Beauty

We be you thought iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 cases got boring right? How about these latest CNC machined aluminum bumper cases designed by Italian designer Andrea Ponti dubbed the Ag++. Although this looks like another impossibly comfortable to hold Draco IV bumper, the Ag++ was designed to be ergonomic when held and features a beautiful two-tone color scheme that's available in a slew of different colors from glossy to matte finished. The bumper case has a two-piece, slim construction that comes together and ia secured using two hex screws.

The Ag++ aluminum bumper case is lined with shock absorbing lining and offers direct access to all ports and buttons , and includes two carbon fiber-like black and silver back skins at $50. Yes it looks pretty, but the company hasn't mentioned whether or not the Ag++ degrades the iPhone's reception being that it's fully made out of metal.

Aviation Aluminum Bumper Looks Affordably Good

Every now and then we stumble upon some new kind of aluminum bumper, and as you know, we love us aluminum bumper cases. This one comes to us from an accessory company that calls itself GGMM. GGMM's Aviation bumper is CNC machined from a single block of anodized aluminum with anti-slip micro machined jimping to help with grip like we've seen on the Blade aluminum bumper. The Aviation is compatible with both iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and was designed to have a simplistic slim profile with some interesting aspects. This is certainly not one of those aluminum bumper cases that will make you drool out of curiosity, though it has its own charm and is one of the most affordable all-aluminum bumper we've seen to date at around $25.

i+Case Offers Sleek Aerodynamic Aluminum Curves For The iPhone 4

Granted we've seen just about every aluminum iPhone 4 case and bumper that was ever created, but we just have to point out this one called the i+Case. It's an aluminum bumper made for the iPhone 4 and with the typical drill of it being made out of a single piece of a solid block of aluminum using a CNC machine and the same process Apple uses to manufacture their unibody MacBook line of portables. There's no doubt that the i-Case doesn't look incredibly good with its sleek curves that with all the rumors circulating around, may even presumably make your iPhone 4 look like an iPhone 5. We can't help but notice how closely the i+Case resembles the ever so popular Japanese designed Draco, aka Deff Cleave aluminum bumper we've posted about a while back and even reviewed. The i+Case does have less specially designed curves we'll give it that, and it even has dedicated machined buttons too. It might not have the cool name, however it sure does look promising at $65. 4th Design's Amazing 4th iPad 2 Aluminum Bumper Case

You're looking at what possibly is the first ever, tue aluminum bumper case made for the iPad 2. Is it just me or does this look simply stunning? The 4th aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is made by the same designers who created the favorable Blade aluminum bumper for the iPhone 4 called 4th Design, which are known for their precision and close attention to detail. The 4th aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is sand blasted for that matte finished look. Creating such a massive aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is no easy task, but it looks like 4th Design has thought about just everything. The back is fitted with rubber, anti-slip corners so that the back of your iPad 2 won't get scratched up when you set it on a table.

 

Large cutouts were made to insure easy access to buttons and ports alike. And there are even silicone inner lining that were applied on the inside of the 4th bumper to prevent any potential damage and scratching from being made to the iPad 2's aluminum. This reminds me of ColorWare's Grip, a poor attempt at an aluminum bumper handle for the iPad. If you like the 4th aluminum bumper as much as I do, you can pick one up for $119. Plastic just doesn't cut it anymore.

Finally we see an aluminum bumper case that doesn't use any screws. The Contour by Nex Design is a CNC machined aluminum bumper made for the Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4 with a slider style, self locking screwless design no other aluminum case or bumper utilizes. It's literally unscrewable. Nex Design must have been a big fan of having their iPhone 4 dockable, now you can easily slide off that bottom peice to do just that without having to remove a bunch of little screws. The Contour was designed with protection in mind. That's why Nex Design has designed it so it'll have moulded urethane inserts to isolate your iPhone 4 from impacts and a front and back lay-on-the-table design.
