Flash Comes To The iPhone! Well Kinda...

Good news folks! You can now watch flash video on an iOS device! And how I hear you ask, by using a brand new browser called Skyfire. As you can expect, Skyfire does not use Flash exactly, because if they did Steve Jobs would kick its ass straight out the door, it converts Flash video to HTML5 so it can be played on iOS devices. However, Skyfire can't play flash games or on Hulu.

Skyfire should be available on the App Store at 9 A.M. EST on Thursday after a wait of over a month for admission into Apple's walled garden. Check the video out below.

Apple Delays White iPhone Until Spring 2011

Apple, this is getting ridiculous. You first said that there would be a slight delay of the white iPhone, then at the end of July, then later on this year, then around Christmas and now you moved the date again to spring 2011! The iPhone 5 might be released before the white iPhone 4 at this rate. However, being put back to Spring 2011, could mean that the white iPhone will be released on Verizon. Further backing up the January 2011 Verizon iPhone.

 Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said:

We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again.

But when asked why, she declined to comment.

iPad Engraving Now Available

Just in time for Christmas, Apple is letting online buyers of the iPad to engrave their iPad with a personal message and offering holiday gift packaging to go alongside it. Just like the iPod engraving service, I presume engraving on the iPad will be an equal hit. You can order an engraved iPad starting today at no extra charge, but it will take roughly 1-3 days longer to dispatch and it costs an extra $5 for the gift wrapping. A small price to pay for a personalized iPad and a gift wrapped package as well.

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Announced, Coming Summer 2011

Well here it is folks, the new version of Mac OS X, code named Lion, this new version brings many things that you see in iOS. Like even more multi-touch gestures, not touchscreen support that was rumoured to be in Lion. Other iOS features in Lion are a Mac App Store which launches in 90 days for Snow Leopard, Launchpad which is a grid of apps and folders like on an iPad, and a whole new experience called Mission Control, which combines Expose, Dashboard and full screen apps into one place. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until next summer for this update.
