Incipio's Stowaway iPhone 4S Case Puts Your Junk In Its Trunk

Wallet cases seem to be getting trendier by the day. Incipio has released its first wallet case for the iPhone 4S called the Stowaway. The Stowaway case has a built-in wallet compartment that flips open for storing your credit and debit card, I.Ds and even some cash for an all-in-one protective case solution. It's a hybrid case like many of Incipio's iPhone cases and made from a combination of shock absorbing silicone and a hard polycarbonate outer shell. The fun doesn't stop there though because when you aren't storing any of your valuables inside the Stowaway, the compartment door doubles as a stable viewing stand.

The Stowaway case for the iPhone 4S will be available in both black and white for $39.99.

Sprint Posts iPhone Plans, Offers Unlimited Data

Sprint has recently posted its data, text and call plans for the iPhone on its website offering customers to pre-order the 8GB iPhone 4 starting today for $99.99 in black or white with a 2-year contract and an October 14 shipping date, while opening up the pre-ordering for the iPhone 4S on October 7 together with Apple with shipping scheduled to start on October 14. Customers will also be able to get their hands on the iPhone 4S in Sprint brick and mortar stores on October 14.

Sprint's iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S plans start at $69.99 and include unlimited data, which both AT&T and Verizon no longer offer. Looks like Sprint is the way to go for new iPhone buyers this time around at much lower monthly costs including unlimited data for that data hungry iPhone.

WaterField Outs iPhone Wallet & iPhone Hint Leather Wallet Sleeve & Case

WaterField has announced 2 new fantastic wallet cases made to fit the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S like a glove. The iPhone Hint is a slim leather sleeve that has a specially designed window letting you fully use your iPhone's touchscreen and home button from within the sleeve. A stretchy back pocket will let you slip in a few cards and some bills. Who would have thought about a sleeve wallet? Next in line is the iPhone Wallet, it will fit both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with or without an Apple Bumper or similar and it will hold a bit more cards and cash than the much slimmer iPhone Hint sleeve. The iPhone Wallet's interior is lined with soft Ultrasuede dividers and has also been fitted with a window letting you fully use your iPhone's toucscreen and even take calls without taking it out. Talking to a wallet is just as mad as talking to a vintage little book.

Both of WaterField's new iPhone Hint and iPhone Wallet are available in black or brown, naturally-tanned cowhide leather for $25 and $39, respectively. Pre-orders are now in full swing with shipping by October 31.

Will iPhone 4 Cases Fit The iPhone 4S Too? Yes!

The answer is plain and simple, yes. All current iPhone 4 cases, sleeves, speaker docks and other accessories of the sorts will indeed fit and be fully compatible with the latest iPhone 4S. Be sure to check out our Gadget Hub for some iPhone 4 and 4S case reviews and guides!

Update: Correction, all iPhone 4 cases that are Verizon and AT&T compatible will fit the iPhone 4S as well. Both the Verizon iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have a silent switch that is designed just a few millimeters towards the top and that has caused cases to have a slight longer cutout for the side volume buttons and silent switch. Most if not all iPhone 4 cases are now compatible with the iPhone 4S.

Apple iPhone 4S Announced, All You Need To Know

Despite the rumors of a newly redesigned iPhone 5, Apple has announced today its next generation iPhone dubbed the iPhone 4S. Boasting the same exact exterior design as of the iPhone 4, but with all-new interior in terms of specs. The new iPhone 4S has a dual-core A5 processor that's twice as fast with a dual-core GPU that's seven times faster. Another big improvement over the iPhone 4 is a new back facing camera with a faster 8-megapixel illuminated CMOS sensor that lets 73% more light in for better low-light performance, a 5-glass element lens (one more than the iPhone 4), f/2.4 aperture and full 1080p HD video recording. What stays the same is the 3.5" Retina Display and the same old glass form factor.

iOS 5 brings many new features to the iPhone including Siri, an iPhone 4S exclusive intelligent voice assistant that lets you ask your iPhone 4S virtually anything, and it will do as you please. Things like setting an alarm, scheduling a meeting, sending messages, getting weather updates, search for great places to eat and so on. Siri will also put your voice into words for when you need to compose an email without having to type using dictation.

Apple has improved the metal antenna band on the iPhone 4S with a system that intelligently switches the antenna parts for better call quality and reception. Data speeds have also improved with HSPA support for 14.4Mbps download speeds, but it's still not as fast as HSPA+ and LTE. The iPhone 4S will be available for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in both black and white in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flavors for $199, $299 and $399, respectively. Pre-orders start on October 7 followed by the release and availability on October 14.
