Griffin Protector, Thinnest Tough iPhone 4S Case

Griffin has added yet another case to its Armored line of tough cases for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S today called the Protector. Instead of a dual-hybrid of hard and soft materials, the Protector is made out of matte-textured, extra thick silicone that wraps around the iPhone protecting it entirely and leaving only the touchscreen uncovered. Griffin's Protector is available now in four colors for $19.99.

Will iPhone 4 Cases Fit The iPhone 4S Too? Yes!

The answer is plain and simple, yes. All current iPhone 4 cases, sleeves, speaker docks and other accessories of the sorts will indeed fit and be fully compatible with the latest iPhone 4S. Be sure to check out our Gadget Hub for some iPhone 4 and 4S case reviews and guides!

Update: Correction, all iPhone 4 cases that are Verizon and AT&T compatible will fit the iPhone 4S as well. Both the Verizon iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have a silent switch that is designed just a few millimeters towards the top and that has caused cases to have a slight longer cutout for the side volume buttons and silent switch. Most if not all iPhone 4 cases are now compatible with the iPhone 4S.

HoodCap Flower Is The Ultimate DSLR Lens Hood Cap

What a genius idea this is. This DSLR lens hood is called the HoodCap Flower, and for good reason. You might say it blooms open into a usable lens hood and closes into a lens cap right there on your lens. If you're like me, I've long forgot about using a lens cap in my daily use just because of how inconvenient it has become for me. I do however, always have my lens hood on. Something like the HoodCap Flower combines the best of both worlds into a single lens attachment you can simply rotate to transform it into a lens hood or a lens cap. Sadly, this isn't yet a real product, just a concept for the time being. I seriously want one now!

Tech21 Impact Folio, The Most Protective iPad 2 Slim Folio Around?

You might recall Tech21 from their impressive shock absorbing iBand bumper, now called the Impact Band, first made for the iPhone 3G/S. Since then, Tech21 has went under the radar for unknown reasons, but now they're back in full swing with brand spanking new cases for the iPad 2 that utilize the D3O technology which has made the company famous for its extreme impact protection capabilities. The company's latest iPad 2 cases include the Impact Folio and Impact Folio Leather. The two are merely the same except for different materials used like Apple has done with its Smart Cover offerings.

Tech21's Impact Folio for the iPad 2 is a minimalistic, slim folio offering full protection with stand and typing functions and is available in 6 vibrant colors. Slimness and vibrant colors aren't the things that make this iPad 2 folio unique, it's the D3O material that is integrated into the Impact Folio that can absorb shock and impacts in case of a drop. If this is any indication to what we saw Tech21's iBand can do, I'm sold. Tech21 hasn't posted any prices or availability at this time.

Incase Outs iPad 2 Mag Snap Case To Tame Your Smart Cover

Incase has just released a new Smart Cover compatible case for the iPad 2 that will answer one of your most frustrating Smart Cover problems to date. The new Mag Snap Case for the iPad 2 is just like any other Smart Cover compatible protective cover, but with one big difference. Embedded on the back side are two metal strips that keep your Smart Cover magnetically clinged to the back so it doesn't just dangle loosely while you use your iPad 2. It also enables you to use an additional viewing angle using your Smart Cover other than the much steeper landscape viewing angle it has to offer. The Mag Snap Case is available now in black and white for $39.95.
