DachaWorks Module iPhone 3GS Case Review

Dacha Works really wanted to make the Module iPhone 3G/S case different from others. While the Module case is supposed to change they way you hold your iPhone and make it more ergonomic, I did not really adapt to it that way. The Module adds some curves to the tempered back of the iPhone and it does add some grip but it does not make it more comfortable or ergonomic. The Module case has a clip-on style and provides very little protection. The Module has a wavy design on the front to supposedly help protect your iPhone's screen and metal bezel, but that is not the case. The wavy pattern is not even raised above the bezel and screen leaving both unprotected.

The back of the Module has a cut-out to give you a better grip, however that also isn't actually helpful other than pushing out your iPhone out of the case itself. Cut-outs on the Module case are perfect because they do not even cover the top and button giving you an easy access and less protection. The Module case is smooth, glossy and also very lightweight. Dacha Works came up with a nice concept but did not deliver a functional protective iPhone case. The Module case is available is four colors, black, pink, white and red. Price $19.95.

Jays v-JAYS On-Ear Headphones Review

v-JAYS by Jays are the most sleekest and most simple headphones I've seen and used by far. The v-JAYS are on-ear headphones and are extremely lightweight and portable. The v-JAYS also fold up by collapsing each side except for the headband making them very portable and usable while traveling. The construction and build quality is very high but there are some small issues.

The foldable design does not click or lock into place, so you are left with two parts that always want fold inwards. However that does not actually affect comfort but it would be nice to have those two ear piece parts click into place. The v-JAYS are extremely comfortable and have very simple but comfortable ear pads that are replaceable. I can see these ear pads not lasting very long though. Each speaker unit has a ball joint that enables them to tilt and conform onto your ears. The audio cord is nice a thick and is also detachable from the middle point of the cord itself. This is a great thing to have if you need to leave you sound source quickly without taking off your headphones.

The v-JAYS sound really great. The sound quality is amazing and very clear. The v-JAYS pack some nice tight and very noticeable bass. Nothing seems to distort or muffle out any of the sounds which is fantastic. The v-JAYS have fantastic crisp highs and mids as well. The overall sound quality is very "lightweight" with great bass. It's amazing how these thin lightweight headphones produce such great sound. With the v-JAYS, included are extra foam pads. Price $98.

V-Moda Crossfade LP Headphones Review

V-Moda Crossfade LP Headphones Review

The Crossfade LP are V-Moda's newest and first headphones added to their very popular line of in-ear earphones. The Crossfade LP feature V-Moda's unique style of design and they certainly do not disappoint, from outstanding packaging to their exoskeleton hard carrying case. The Crossfade LP feature patent-pending 50mm High-Definition drivers that produce fantastic deep and strong bass without any batteries. The bass is just outstandingly clear and not muddy or overpowering. The sound quality is very clear and warm with deep lows and clear detailed highs. I think V-Moda has made an outstanding pair of headphones that are definitely worth taking a look at. I have listened to many great headphones in the past and the Crossfade LP are one of the best sounding headphones out there. Also, sound will even improve with burn-in time and use.

Vaja Ivolution Top Case for iPad Review

The Ivolution Top is one of Vaja's top cases that they have released. It is made out of smooth leather available in almost every color imaginable. It is handcrafted in Argentina to ensure best quality and fine craftsmanship.  The Ivolution costs $150 USD, but is well worth its value. No leather case is as comfortable in your hands or on your lap as the Ivolution.

The Ivolution has a back piece that covers and protects the back of the iPad and comes up to the iPad's bezel. Then there is the front piece which attaches onto the front of the iPad to protect the iPad's screen while it is not in use. The front piece is also embellished with Vaja's silver logo, which adds a nice sleek look that  catches the eye.

The Ivolution is great and seems flawless, but not quite.  The only minor flaw found in the Ivolution is that from being handmade, so it has a snug fit, which can cause some trouble when taking it in and off. Other than when the case is being applied, the Ivolution is the best case imaginable for its job.

Vaja demonstrates true dedication by using only the best leather made by real craftspeople. They have great service and make high quality cases.  But all this takes time, so you must wait 45 days for the made-to-order handicraft process to take place. The wait is well worth it though. And sure, it is expensive, but the leather serves as a luxurious cushion for the more expensive iPad. If you really have the money to spend and want an individual accessory to personalize and protect your iPad, Vaja even offers customization, which allows you to select a color(s), pick a style, add an image, and have your name stitched onto the case.

The Ivolution crushes competition with its hand-crafted fine leather and protective fit. But with its snug fit, this case may not be for all people though. It may be for more dedicated users who carry their iPad around --  to, from, and at the office or the classroom --  or even for somebody who loves to spend their time reading e-books at the beach or at home.

Wrapsol Protection For iPad

Wrapsol scratch-proof protection are a great way to keep your iPad scratch-free and also keep the original anodized aluminum look with Wrapsol's matte protection films. Applying the Wrapsol protection onto the iPad takes some time but once you get it on it looks amazing. In the process I've managed to get a few air bubbles that I could not squeegee out. However, you do need to let your Wrapsol set for at least 24 hours. And once I did, all the air bubbles have disappeared leaving a smooth and clear surface. There is only one issue with the Wrapsol protection film I got for the iPad, It was not cut to fit correctly and I had a very hard time aligning it because of that. It turns out it was a little shorter on the bottom but that should be fixed by Wrapsol soon.

Wrapsol are currently the only company to offer a matte finish to their protection films which I personally love. If you would like a glossy and non-matte finish to your device, Wrapsol also offers the Wrapsol Ultra. A Wrapsol protection is a must for your iPad's backside to help keep that beautiful aluminum from scratches and scuffs. Wrapsols are made in the U.S.A. and come with a lifetime replacement warranty. Every Wrapsol protection kit includes a fantastic soft microfiber cloth, a non-marking flexible rubber squeegee and a liquid spray application solution. Price $34.95.

Ableplanet True Fidelity Headphones

Ableplanet’s True Fidelity noise canceling headphones have one major flaw and that is they do not actually cancel any outside noise, not one bit however their Linx audio technology does and requires one 3xA battery that is included to power on the headphones. So what does this Linx thing do? It basically gives more power to the audio and you get better and stronger sound, not something i see very special just because the noise cancellation feature does not even work whether it has something to do with the power or not. So how do the True Fidelity sound? Good but not good enough, the bass sounds a little muddy and undetailed so does the overall spectrum, the sound is very full almost hard to distinguish the highs and lows so you do not get any crispy clear highs.

I found a big issue with sound leakage, these will leak a lot of sound just like a speaker so using the True Fidelity in public or quiet places can be an issue. However they are very light and comfortable and the headband is nice and fluffy. The True Fidelity headphones have a matte soft touch finish, and have an in-line volume control switch. In the box you can a battery, hardshell carry case, airplane adapter, home stereo adapter and a detachable/replaceable one sided 3.5mm audio cable (non proprietary). I would not recommend these for portable carry. If your looking to get one of Ableplanet’s headphones i would strongly recommend going for their higher models. Also available at Amazon. Price $129.99.
