iPhone 4S Camera Embedding Plus Marks In Your Photos, Faulty Sensors?

As new iPhone 4S owners start to enjoy all the great new features their handsets bring from Siri to faster speeds, issues start to arise. Enjoying all of those 8-megapixels? Turns out we found out that the iPhone 4S' brilliant new back facing camera isn't playing very nice and embeds little white plus (+) marks in all of your photos. If you zoom in just a little, you'll be able to spot a few of them sitting there ruining your photos. Why is this happening? We can't say for sure, but chances are that this is only a matter of a software update away from fixing this issue with the camera. In a worst case scenario, this could be the fault of a faulty batch of sensors.

Here's what you need to looks for. We've confirmed this happening with every photo taken with an iPhone 4S across many users. The sooner Apple takes note of this and issues a software update, you'll just have to hold on ordering those large poster prints, or resort to Photoshopping these out.

Update: We found out that the problem only occurs when using the HDR option to take the photos. That only serves as solid evidence that this could be easily fixed with a software update.

Several news outlets including CNN and Apple's own website have revealed that one of Apple's Co-Founders Steve Jobs has died. He was 56.

Below is an excerpt from Apple's website.

Steve Jobs
1955-2011

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

Apple Offers To Buy Your Used iPhone 4, Rips You Off

So you want to upgrade to that powerful iPhone 4S do you now? I bet you thought about getting rid of your used iPhone 4 for some extra cash in order to help finance the upgrade. Apple wants your used iPhone and in exchange, it will send you an Apple Gift Card good towards goodies like the iPhone 4S. The thing is, Apple uses a third party service which will offer you next to nothing compared to what you can get for it if you sell your iPhone yourself using services like eBay. Just for an example, a mint condition 16GB iPhone 4 will only score you $180, and that's not enough. You will be able to get double than that right now if you sell it on your own and have enough to treat yourself to a nice iPhone 4S with enough storage to store all those 8-megapixel photos and 1080p videos! We highly recommend skipping the 16GB model if you're trigger happy.

Apple's Recycling Program may be a convenient route without having to think much, but a bit of minutes work setting up an eBay auction will help you get the most out of your lovely used iPhone 4.

Apple Drops iPod Nano Price, Adds New Watch Faces

Today's Let's Talk iPhone event wasn't all about the iPhone after all with Apple dropping the price of the Multi-Touch iPod Nano down to $129 for the 8GB model and $149 for the 16GB model. Apple hasn't changed the overall design of the Nano, but it did get rid of that quad-icon grid interface for a sleeker larger single icon interface. Also, a built-in accelerometer will replace the Nike shoe sensor for keeping track of how much calories you've burnt, distance, number of steps and time.

The new iPod Nano now comes with a slew of 16 new clock faces that will make wearing your new iWatch that much more better. It seems Apple has brought back the faith in the dying wrist watch accessories for its little touchscreen enabled iPod Nano. Current iPod Nano 6G owners can now download the 1.2 software update in iTunes starting today adding the new user interface together with the 16 new clock faces, so get downloading! The updated iPod Nano is now shipping at full blast.
