ChargeAll, The First Portable Battery Pack With An AC Outlet

This is ChargeAll, and it claims to be the world's first and smallest portable battery pack to have an AC power outlet built-in. Unlike traditional backup batteries, this one features a full sized AC power outlet in addition to a regular old USB charging port. Available in two capacities: one with a 12,000mAh internal rechargeable lithium battery and a larger ChargeAll battery (still portable) with a 18,000mAh capacity capable of recharging any device that requires up to 85W of power like a MacBook Pro. In fact, the people behind the ChargeAll battery say that its 12,000mAh portable battery can fully recharge a MacBook Pro two times over, while the larger battery can triple that amount which sounds like an impressive claim to fame to say the least.

Typo iPhone Keyboard Case Makes You Type Better, Knocks BlackBerry

Ironic naming aside, Typo is somewhat of a revolutionary keyboard case for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s in that it's one of the slimmest, minimalist cases to offer a physical QWERTY backlit keyboard with a built-in rechargeable battery that instead of using a mechanical sliding undercarriage that would otherwise make your iPhone much more bulkier, seamlessly overlays right below the touchscreen offering immediate typing access as if you were using one of your favorite BlackBerry device. It's a brilliant, albeit respectfully unoriginal concept that is an actual product which will start to ship next month. Though you can pre-order yours right now for a whopping $100.

Typo's BlackBerry Q10-style keyboard completely overlays on top of the iPhone's home button or Touch ID home button on the iPhone 5s, and while iPhone 5s users will sadly have to live without using their fingerprint sensor as a quick passcode entry, the Typo does indeed offer a home button function key on the far bottom right corner. Because Typo's keyboard wirelessly pairs with your iPhone using Bluetooth, you gain 40% more screen real estate when typing. Unfortunately the Typo will use Bluetooth 3.0 instead of the updated 4.1 version which should consume less power and yield superior battery life. The guys behind the Typo aren't saying anything about battery life other than being able to fully recharge the Typo's small 180mAh internal battery in less than an hour.

The slider-style plastic case itself doesn't seem to impress as much as the backlit keyboard though, and it could use some more refinement around the where the two parts connect. But hopefully the Typo keyboard case will live up to its incredible potential. The Typo will have a matte soft-touch rubberized black finish that should give the case a smooth and comfortable to hold feel. Did we mention Ryan Seacrest is one of Typo's founders? Be sure to hop past the break to see the Typo in action!

iPhone 5c Drop Tested In The Name Of Science

How durable is Apple's iPhone 5c anyway? One way of finding out is by conducting the ultimate test, a realistic drop test. And what better way of capturing the potential destructive damage of such a test than to use the assistance of the brand new iPhone 5s, and its impressive 120fps slow-motion HD video recording capabilities. Unbox Therapy did just that, and after two drop tests from various heights, only one part of the iPhone 5c survived the impact and it's that shiny polycarbonate shell.

Not surprisingly though, the iPhone 5c survived the carnage with only considerable damage to its 4-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen after being intentionally dropped screen-side down from a height of roughly six feet straight onto concrete - which only validates our hands-on impressions of the iPhone 5c's polycarbonate build quality. The device kept on working even after every bit of its touchscreen had a crack in it. As for its polycarbonate shell, apart from little cosmetic damage the iPhone 5c held it together quite well and could be repaired with a replacement touchscreen. Leason learned? Use a case or an anti-shatter tempered glass screen protector such as Spigen's Glas.t Nano Slim if you want to protect your otherwise fragile glass touchscreen from impacts.

Apple's Designed Together Ad Shows Design Influences Between iOS 7 & iPhone 5C

Along with the public launch of iOS 7, Apple's new "Designed Together" ad shows how iOS 7 compliments the iPhone 5C's industrial design, colors and even its now controversial perforated case. It all makes sense when you pay attention to the small details which seem to all share a circular design language as Apple makes note of in its ad using slick transitions from one iOS 7 feature to another design element found on the iPhone 5C. From the looks of it, we see that in the ad Apple may be implying that its official iPhone 5C Case's dotted grid pattern design was influenced by the circular number pad for user passcode and phone number dialing found in iOS 7

Apple Officially Debuts The iPhone 5S: Everything You Need To Know

As expected, today Apple has revealed the iPhone 5 successor dubbed the iPhone 5S.
