Sinch Wants To Keep Your Headphone Wires Tangle-Free

After endless amounts of cable management solutions, the Sinch tries to take a stab at organizing your in-ear headphone wires in a more innovative way using flexible strip with powerful magnets to help keep it clinged together while neatly securing those wires of yours. The Sinch wants to keep your in-ear and earbud headphones tangle-free and doesn't care that obviously most already are. While the Sinch looks like an innovative solution, its idea of organizing your cables isn't all that great. You'll still have to wrap your cables around your device while the Sinch offers a bit of help to keep them more tidy while it attaches to your headphones' 3.5mm plug and piggy backs on the back of your device.

Do you smell that? It's the smell of gimmick right there. I really hope you aren't using those awful Apple earbuds. In any case, the Sinch is available in black and white for $15.99.

Sol Republic Tracks Headphones, The New Beats By Dr. Dre Hype?

We absolutely love new and innovative headphone companies that aren't afraid to place themselves in between the major players in the audio market. Sol Republic are the perfect example of a new emerging audio company with a set of headphones that aren't just well designed, but extremely well priced too. Monster is without a doubt the market leader when it comes to trendy headphones, but the Tracks headphones by Sol Republic look like they have just enough to offer as their competitors and at a more affordable price tag. Best Buy is already selling the Sol Republic Tracks headphones as of today for $99.99 and $129.99 for the Tracks HD model.

The Tracks feature what Sol Republic calls the V-8 Audio Engine and an on-ear designed ear cups which can also be totally removed off the flexible headband for ultra portableness and easier user replaceable drivers. Early adopters have already reported that the Tracks headphones sound very similar to the Beats By Dr. Dre Solo HD headphones which are double in price. Sol Republic's Tracks HD headphones are priced at $129.99 and supposedly have a slightly better audio driver called the V-10 and a brushed metal finish. Sol Republic isn't very specific about their specs, but from what we understand, they call the sound drivers of the Tracks headphones "Audio Engines" instead. Sounds better already right? The Tracks come with detachable audio cables including one with a 3-button remote and mic for headset use and music controlling.

Beats Mixr Headphones By David Guetta Announced

I know what you may be thinking to yourself already, oh look another celebrity musician gets his own pair of Beats headphones. That might be true, but I can't help the fact that these look absolutely stunning. Monster really knows how to design good looking headphones there's no denying that. David Guetta might be the perfect music producer to be getting his own pair of DJ style headphones because he seems a lot more passionate about sound and has been involved in tuning these headphones to his good French taste. Rather than calling these the Beats By David Geutta, the new headphones are dubbed the Beats mixr headphones and aren't only designed for use by those spinning record people at the clubs.

Much like the $450 pair of the Beats Pro headphones, the Beats mixr are built with part metal construction and have an over-ear designed ear cups that can swivel 180 degrees allowing the headphones to be folded for portable carry. The Beats mixr are expected to hit British stores in October for £250. No further details were announced as of yet.

Beats Wireless, First Beats By Dr. Dre Wireless Headphones

Looks like Monster finally decided to out some wireless headphones after all. The FCC just approved what will be the newest addition to the Beats By Dr. Dre lineup called the Beats Wireless. The Beats Wireless headphones look like they are a mix of the Studio and the Solo HD mixed into one. They'll be Bluetooth enabled and have features such as headset capabilities with side controls to let you answer calls and control your music playback. Gone are the replaceable batteries that were used to power up the active noise-cancellation, the Beats Wireless will have a built-in rechargeable battery. Will we see these being bundled up with some HTC handsets in the future? After all, HTC didn't purchase the Beats By Dr. Dre brand for no reason. We're expecting to see these being released very soon for a heft price tag as usual. 

Philips & O'Neill Announce Refreshed The Stretch Scratch, The Bend Headphones

It's that time of the year again where Philips are refreshing their line of super flexible and durable line of headphones. Philips has announced at IFA of a newly refreshed pair of headphones called The Stretch Scratch, which are over-ear headphones featuring the same good old TR55LX headband that is super flexible not even Snooki can break. We've reviewed the very first model of Philips O'Neill mashup that are The Stretch headphones a while back and can attest to their super durability and great sound quality. The new The Stretch Scratch headphones are said to have 40mm drivers for deep bass and clear dynamic sound quality and anti-tangle, detachable cables.

With that, Philips has also released another pair of headphones called The Bend. The Bend are on-ear headphones with 30mm drivers that deliver deep, dynamic bass inside a super tough construction with a headband made from the same exact materials used to make snow goggles for that extra toughness. Toughness and durability seems like the most important aspect to Philips in their line of headphones. Both the The Stretch Scratch and The Bend headphones will be available in various different colors. No release date or pricing has been announced as of yet.

V-Moda Intros Crossfade M-80 Headphones

A new pair of headphones have just been released by V-Moda called the Crossfade M-80, this time with an on-ear design. The new Crossfade M-80 headphones are the smaller sibling of the over-ear Crossfade LP headphones we reviewed a while back. They've got a durable, lightweight metal construction with an extremely flexible, SteelFlex headband and interchangeable brushed metal housing plates for military-level ruggedness. 40mm Dual-Diaphragm drivers are said to pack pure and balanced sound with Bliss technology for noise-isolation. The Crossfade M-80 on-ear headphones also include a detachable, Kevlar reinforced cable with an inline 3-button remote and mic that's universally compatible with all devices. You can pick up a pair now for $229.99.

HTC Partners Up With Beats By Dr. Dre, Sounds Good

Big news today as HTC announced its partnership and 51% stake acquisition of Beats Electronics, the company responsible for that sleek Beats By Dr. Dre line of most wanted headphones, and more recently speakers docks worldwide. Full details are yet to be announced as to what exactly this partnership will bring to the table, and most importantly to the consumers. It's very safe to say that we're going to see HTC incorporating Beats By Dr. Dre speakers in their well made handsets in the very near future just like HP has done with their Beats branded laptops.

HTC could have a big advantage over competitors if it will use the Beats audio in their handsets or even offer bundles that include a Beats branded headset along with a handset. Expect to see a whole lot of HTC smartphones in music videos.
