SwitchEasy's Cara iPad Case Packs Ninja Turtle Strength

SwitchEasy's new iPad case called the Cara once again amazes us with their unique design. The Cara is a folio style iPad case with a tough glossy hard plastic front to protect your screen that might remind you of your childhood heros, the Ninja Turtles. It's also coated with a durable scratch resisting coating to insure your shield stays shiny. The back is made from a grippy soft durable material that makes the Cara a slim profiled iPad folio. With the Cara included are two stands, port covers and a screen proctor. Nothing surprising if you're already familiar with SwitchEasy. You can pick up a Cara right now in three colors for $49.99.

Speck's ToughSkin for iPhone 4 is One Tough Cookie

Speck finally released their version of the ToughSkin for the iPhone 4, a very bulky and tough silicone case. I actually love the way Speck designed this iPhone 4 version of the ToughSkin a lot more than past iPhone versions. This case will definitely give you some piece of mind knowing all that rubber is going to give you some serious drop protection. Even the front home button area is covered up.

Looks like you're going to get great drop protection overall, if you're willing to double the size of your iPhone 4 that is. The Speck ToughSkin will be on sale soon, no price or official release date announced as of yet.

Colorware's $300 Grip Case for iPad

This is madness! Colorware are now shipping their first ever case for the iPad called Grip, an aluminum case that only protects your iPad's bezel. The Grip might look a bit familiar to you if you came across ElementCase's Vapor aluminum cases for the iPhone 4. The Grip requires bolts to be screwed in order to install it on your iPad and it comes with the tools you need to the task. The Grip's handle allows you to easily carry your iPad around like a suitcase and supposedly gives you a good grip on your iPad. All this for your $300 of course, are you crazy enough to order one yourself? It's solid aluminum construction looks great but the price is definitely not right.

Being Colorware, you are able to fully color customize your Grip case for the iPad in any color combination your mind fancies. The Grip is available in a glossy and soft-touch finishes as well as in an unpainted version, but It will cost you an extra $30 to color customize and get the soft-touch version of the Grip.
