Battlefield 3 Beta Drops On September 29, Open To All

The wait is almost over! DICE has announced that the Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta will be ready and available for download on September 29. The beta is an open beta, meaning it will be open to all gamers and consoles including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. In addition, those who pre-ordered the limited edition Medal Of Honor will be giving early access to the Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta starting September 27. Players will be given one multiplayer map when the open beta arrives called Paris: Operation Metro. This should help with the wait until Battlefield 3 hits stores on October 28. Thank you Kensington for making the most useful battery case the iPhone 4 has ever seen. Kensington's new BungeeAir Power Wireless Security Tether battery case is a slim 3-in-1 case that not only can it juice up your iPhone 4 with its built-in 1500mAh battery, but perhaps the most useful feature it packs is a wireless security alert system that will alert you should you forget your iPhone 4 and it'll alert you right away even before you can get far away from it. When the BungeeAir case senses that it has been left behind, it will immediately alert the BungeeAir key fob that you'll be carrying around with you that will alert you by loud beeping noises as well as vibration. It will also lock your iPhone 4's screen requiring a passcode as a precautionary step in case someone is quick on their feet to find your missing iPhone 4. It also has a built-in stand for landscape and portrait viewing angles. Apple should really consider handing these out to its employees from now on.

The BungeeAir security system also works both ways in case you lose your keys with the BungeeAir key fob attached to help you find them quicker. There is of course a limiting proximity in which both wireless receivers can work in and that also depends on the environment. An average distance of 50 feet is the limit in which both BungeeAir receives can operate in. The BungeeAir Power Wireless Security Tether case will be available for $99.99. In case you've been living under a rock, Apple managed to lose yet another iPhone prototype in a bar and is currently doing everything it can to find it.

White iPod Touch Found In A Noodle Bar

Yeah, no joke. The guys over at M.I.C Gadget over in China went for lunch at a noodle bar in the city of Shenzhen when they found a white iPod Touch 4G that apparently someone has lost. As much as I would have liked to believe that this is in fact the real deal, unfortunately it isn't. It's only a black iPod Touch that underwent a transplant with a white front panel that we've seen surface in China. The white home button is only a sticker that was placed to hide the original black home button. Apparently the owner did a half-ass job! Doesn't it still look beautiful though? Come on Apple, where are those white iPod Touch 4Gs and 5Gs? See the video after the break.

Portal Made Into A Worthy Short Live Action Film

This Portal fan made short film titled Portal: No Escape by Dan Trachtenberg, took more than a year to complete. That's a pretty long time for only 7 minutes of action, but it looks like it all paid off because the finished result is pure awesome and only shows that there is huge potential for a big budget Hollywood Portal movie in the future. I know I would hand over my money to go see a Portal movie made into a blockbuster.
