Amazon Holding Major Press Event On Wednesday, Tablets Arriving?

Amazon will officially be holding a press conference in New York for a grand product announcement and unveiling. We highly anticipate Amazon to release the much rumored Amazon Tablets running the Android OS and special Amazon perks will be included like a built-in Kindle. Amazon's press conference is scheduled to set place on Wednesday, September 28 at 10AM. Amazon's Kindle just doesn't look all that appetising in the sea of powerful all-can-do tablets. Amazon's expertise with its Kindle paints high hopes for a solid tablet competitor.

Wingstand Will Marry Your Tablet & Smartphone With Your Keyboard

This neat little accessory called the Wingstand, takes advantage of your existing Apple Wireless Keyboard and attached to it in order to marry your iPad, tablet, eReader and even a smartphone into a touchscreen working horse. The Wingstand is possibly the tiniest and most portable stand solution we've ever seen before. Of course you can always get one of those keyboard cases, but the Wingstand was created for those who already have all the parts necessary in making their own Multi-Touch computer on the cheap. Wingstand even works with most incased tablets and smartphones so you'll always stay safe and protected. Your gadget will that is. Even Apple's Smart Cover, although that really defeats the purpose of having a Smart Cover isn't it.

Check out the video after the break for some geekiness action. If you like what you see, then you can pre-order a Wingstand for $20 over at Kickstarter. We've got much love for Kickstarter here at Gadgetmac.

InfiniteLoop Tablet & Smartphone Stand Offers Infinite Flexibility

What looks to be the world's most intriguing tablet stand is the InfiniteLoop. The InfiniteLoop is the creation of Tim Gushue, who designed the InfiniteLoop to be the most simplest and versatile tablet stand ever. The patented co-molded metal and plastic form can be easily manipulated to any shape your imagination comes up with while maintaining the strength and rigidity to hold up all sort of heavy tablets like the iPad.

What's more, is that there is also the shorter MiniLoop stand made out of the same materials as its older brother, and it too can be manipulated in infinite angles and is compatible with almost any smartphone. The MiniLoop can attach to almost any surface by wrapping it around it, kind of like the flexible Gorillapod tripod. The possibilities and uses of these flexible stands is pretty much endless. The InfiniteLoop is currently a Kickstarter project and you can pre-order the MiniLoop for $19 (will retail for $29.95) while the InfiniteLoop's pre-order price is $35 (will retail for $44.95), plus you'll also get the MiniLoop as a bonus. If you're interested, head over to the InfiniteLoop Kickstarter page for more info. The guys at Infinite Loop hope to start shipping these out by August.

Thanks for the tip, Chris!

Maglus Aluminum Stylus Is Magnetically Awesome

What looks to be the newly found half brother of the AluPen stylus, is the Maglus aluminum stylus for the iPad 2. What so different about the Maglus stylus is that you probably will never lose it as it's magnetic and can attach to the front and back of your iPad 2. Using a Smart Cover? Not a problem, it can attach to that too. Where can you get this magical stylus you ask? Well it's currently being funded over at Fund It, similar to Kickstarter, and it will retail for €24.99 (that's about $36), but if you help fund the Maglus via Fund It, you can grab a Maglus stylus for €15 (about $22). Check out the Maglus in action right after the cut.

As a PlayBook user, you will be able to watch wide-screen movies and comfortably type using the Dodocase's stand and typing function. Too bad Dodocase didn't punch a hole for the back facing camera, but don't feel bad because iPad 2 users are in the same situation. $59.95 will get you one of these Dodocases which are available right now in 4 different colors.
