Just Mobile Announces AluFrame, AluPocket, AluCup, Gum Max Dual iDevice Accessories

One of our favorite companies for all-things Apple accessories is doing it big at CES 2013. Just Mobile's new line of Apple-focused accessories includes some really cool products most of which are aluminum-centric and made for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The first on the list is Just Mobile's $30 AluPocket, a peculiar looking object is believe it or not a plastic and aluminum constructed mount that can fit any iPhone model with or without a protective case. The back features 3M adhesive strips for effortless mounting and removal from walls and other flat surfaces you'd like to mount your iPhone to. We're honestly not so sure how practical a wall mount for an iPhone is, but the AluPocket is also designed to route a charger cable thru it, essentially transforming it into a wall mounted charging dock.

Just Mobile has also introduced the $109 Gum Max Dual, a high-capacity battery backup charger that's essentially a more rugged version of the company's aluminum constructed Gum Max, albeit with a massive 11,200mAh internal battery capacity. The Gum Max Dual is wrapped in a thick silicone sleeve that can be removed and replaced with a different color without obstructing the LED battery level gauge. It also features two USB charging ports - one powerful enough to output 2.4A of power for quick and efficient charging of a tablet such as the iPad and iPad mini while the other provides 1A of power suitable for charging up an iPhone or iPod. Like the ones before it, the Gum Max Dual will not include any charging cables except for a micro-USB cable to charge the unit itself.

For the first time, Just Mobile has introduced an iPhone case called the AluFrame. It's a $59 bumper-style aluminum constructed case designed with chamfered edges that tie in with the iPhone 5's original design as much as possible while adding some protection. The AluFrame features an integrated volume rocker, a sleep/wake button and can be installed easily with a push a button. No tools or screws required.

JBL Outs Charge Portable Speaker, OnBeat Rumble Lightning Speaker Dock

JBL has announced of two new portable speakers to further enhance its industry leading offerings. JBL's new Charge is a $150 cylindrical portable Bluetooth stereo speaker that is very much like the company's award-winning Flip speaker, albeit more ruggedized and with a much larger built-in rechargeable battery for up to 12 hours of playback. The Charge can be placed either horizontally or vertically, and features a built-in bass port, digital sound processing for room-filling lows combined with accentuated highs. The JBL Charge is a stereo speaker with two 40mm full-range drivers and a 2 x 5-watt amplifier, same as the Flip. It will be available in several colors, including black, blue and green when it is released in the first quarter of this year.

Seidio's Vitreo Series Trades Flimsy Plastic For Tempered Glass Screen Protectors

We're all too familiar with the cheap and unreliable plastic screen protectors that we decide to slap onto our new and expensive devices for the sake of protection. To make matters worse, unless you're an expert at screen protector installation, you'll more than likely end up with some form of air bubble too. These are all things that the folks at Seidio hate too, which is why they created the Vitreo lineup of tempered glass screen protectors for your iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S III.

Boasting an impressive 9H hardness rating and coming in at only .55mm thickness, the Vitreo sets itself as the ideal screen protector. Best of all, Seido is claiming that it is unbeatable and "shatterproof", however, life experiences has proven that glass and shatterproof have yet to go hand-in-hand.

This is similar to Spigen SGP's GLAS.t lineup including the all-too similar Colorant glass screen protectors that we've come to love so much, and it comes in at an affordable $39.95.

MobileMount+ Will Mount Your Smartphone Onto Anything

The dual-slinging, double suction cup mount MobileMount, is back with one more additional feature that warrants its MobileMount+ moniker. What sets the MobileMount+ apart from the previous generation, is its ability to separate into two pieces - one of which has the ability to attach onto any tripod head thanks to its threaded 1/4" ball joint connection. Like the MobileMount, the MobileMount+ is a compact double suction cup mount designed to allow users to mount virtually any smartphone with a flat back onto a variety of surfaces to be used as an in-car GPS device amongst many other applications, while a ball joint let's you adjust the viewing angles.

The MobileMount+ can also be used as a tablet kickstand with adjustable set of tilting angles. The MobileMount+ can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter starting at $30, in black or white colors.

Thanks for the tip, Chris and Lindsay!

OCDock Brilliantly Designed For iPhone 5 Users With An iMac Or Apple Display

Aluminum iPhone docks aren't on short supply. In fact every new dock out there is made from the stuff. We've seen plenty of amazing iPhone 5 docks recently, but none are as Apple fanboy-girl-dedicated as this one. The $59 OCDock by OCDesk is a the one and only dock made exclusively for Apple fanatics. It's a dock with a svelte aluminum build, finished off with a bead blasted Apple finish which is designed to seamlessly sit at the footstep of your iMac or Thunderbolt Display where it'll play its part in solving your first-world problems of a clutter desk environment. Plus, it'll charge up your iPhone 5 in absolute minimalist, wireless-looking style.

You see, the OCDock was designed with the world's thinnest cable which means it can sit vistually against the aluminum pedastal of the Apple Display while the thinner ribbon USB cable is routed underneath the base of the display.

The OCDock will fit most protective cases thanks to the three different interchangeable silicone support inserts, and features a bevy of features like the all desired one-handed undocking and a patented spring-loaded charging plate that slides up or down to reveal more or less of the Lightning connector depending on the bulk of protective case you have on your iPhone. So when they said this dock is compatible with most iPhone cases, they really mean it.

The $55 OCDock Mini is an even slimmer version of the standard OCDock for those who prefer to use their iPhone naked, and keep it that way. If you're looking to get an amazing iPhone dock to compliment your iMac and Apple Thunderbolt Display, you've got to be a fool not to pre-order the OCDock. A fool! The OCDock and OCDock Mini are both available to pre-order on Kickstarter in either matte silver or black finished aluminum. If you've got an iPhone 4/S, the OCDock is also available in a 30-pin charging connector model as well. Everyone wins, except for Android and Windows 8 users.
