iSkin Announces earTones Headsets

iSkin's new earTones look like an improved version of Apple's iPhone headsets that we all know are mediocre to say the least. iSkin promises serious, high-definition sound quality suitable for watching movies, playing games and of course, music listening. The earTones have a slim inline mic compatible with iOS devices, Macs and BlackBerry devices. Unlike most earphones on the market, the earTones are not in-ears but rather earbuds and do not get inside your ear canals. For comfort, iSkin designed the earTones to have a flexible tip called FlexFit which promises a more comfortable and easy fit. The earTones are available now in six different colors for $39.99.

A new company called Meglio set out to create an ergonomic handle and stand for the iPad and of course the iPad 2. The Meglio promises to let you comfortably enjoy your iPad with a secure grip with a rotating function to quickly switch between landscape and portrait angles. This isn't the first accessory of its kind but it sure does look interesting nonetheless. With the iPad 2 being even thinner, the Meglio seems to be a nice addition if you're into these sort of stuff. Did I mention it can hang off your towel hanger? Twelve South Compass Stand For iPad 2

Well what do you, Twelve South's Compass stand for the iPad is also compatible with the new iPad 2 and it looks even better with white. The Compass stand lets you type, display pictures and view movies and it's available now for $39.99 at Twelve South.

Official Apple iPad 2 Accessories

Besides the new iPad 2, Apple released a few new accessories for the iPad 2. The three most notable accessories include the Smart Covers which double as a stand, a new iPad 2 Dock made specifically for the iPad 2 and a new Digital AV Adapter with a full HDMI output that supports full 1080p HD playback. Although the new Digital AV Adapter came out for the iPad 2, it will also be compatible with the current iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad. The iPad 2 will be the only one capable of outputting full 1080p while the rest will have to put with just 720p playback. In addition to HDMI out, you will also be able to charge your iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G using the Digital AV Adapter while outputting content. 

You will have to wait until March 11 to get your hands on these new iPad 2 accessories though. The Smart Covers run for $39-69, the iPad 2 Dock $29 and the Digital AV Adapter will set you back $39 not including an HDMI cable. Now it's your turn 3rd parties!
