Packlight Packs A Bright, Flexible Punch

Who doesn't love LEDs? I sure do. That bright white illumination is so attractive I feel like a fly that's attracted to that electric blue light of death. Simply put, the Packlight is a flexible light strip that you can bend and shape to light up various objects and where you need a bright light most. The possibilities are pretty much endless with the Packlight, using it for photography and video purposes comes to mind. This isn't just another LED strip, the Packlight packs 45 bright LEDs in a waterproof, silicone constructed strip that can bend and hold its shape, and even magnetically attach to metal surfaces thanks to the built-in strong neodymium magnet ends.

Other features like multiple brightness modes, built-in USB rechargeable battery and hanging river holes makes this the perfect light source for anything that comes your way. The Packlight is one sweet gadget to have around, and it can be pre-ordered in black or red for $45 over at Kickstarter.

Type On This Wireless Virtual Laser Keyboard For iPad & iPhone (Video)

Forget about keyboard cases, this Cube Laser Virtual Keyboard made by Celluon is where it's at right now. The future is already here? I remember watching movies with this kind of technology and it was just CGI at the time. Now you can finally get the real deal. The Cube Laser Virtual Keyboard projects a full-sized red lasered keyboard onto a flat surface and will sound a clicking sound when you type. And it can connect to virtually any Bluetooth enabled device, not just the iPad and iPhone. The built-in rechargeable battery will only last for about two and a half hours of continuous typing in the dark of night. Too bad it doesn't come in other laser color choices other than the boring red color. You can grab one for $169.99 over at ThinkGeek. Where else? It's the only place you can geek yourself out. See it in action after the break!

This Nespresso Machine Should Come To Life

Every geek needs some source of power, whether you rely on coffee or sugary energy drinks, you can't help but not fall in love with this Nespresso, capsule coffee machine designed by Tali Shilo. Sadly, it's just a concept for now until Nespresso themselves take notice of this brilliance. Nespresso machines are quite easy to operate and most of the new designed that have come out aren't half bad, but this concept takes it one step further in its simple and straightforward lines. I wouldn't mind a microscope-like machine injected coffee into my cup every morning. I'll take one in blue please.

Once in a while a new dock comes along with a wow factor, this one is just that. The C/Dock is an iPhone 4 dock that uses one of your clock apps on your iPhone 4 to transform into an alarm clock dock perfect for any bedside table. It's made from mixture of solid walnut wood and brushed aluminum hat creates a retro yet modern styled look. Of course the C/Dock has many other uses other than just using it as a clock dock, use it as a viewing stand or your very own music box. Firetext Smoke Alarm Notifies You When Your House Sets On Fire

I've always wondered what I would do if my house suddenly went up in flames while I was away. I would have never known that my beloved gadgets were being barbecued to a fine crisp until I got back home. This has been one of the biggest concerns I've had while I was away. Luckily, this gadget is here to save all its friends and of course, your lovely home too. The Firetext is just like any other battery powered smoke detector/alarm, but with one big difference. It will send you a text message to up to 4 numbers at a time once it detects smoke. You can even customize the text message to say something like - "Dude, your gadgets are about to get fried!".

The Firetext Smoke Alarm runs for £89.99, and you'll need an active serviced SIM card to get this to work though. Keeping your home safe while you're away might cost you a little more, it sure does beat potentially losing your collection of gadgets.

Mutewatch Is Every Geek's Dream Watch

I said it time and time again, I love Swedish companies. There is something so innovative about every single product coming out of Sweden it's just unbelievable. The Swedish watch brand, Mutewatch, has created the most amazing touch screen watch you've ever seen. It's the geekiest watch ever made. Forget the iWatch iPod nano 6G basicness, the Mutewatch come to us straight from the future and features a vibration alarm clock that will vibrate depending on your preference without making a noise and alarming others. Brilliant isn't it? To change and set up an alarm or the time itself, you simply swipe, pinch and tap.

The Mutewatch also has a built-in motion sensor that will turn on the glowing display with just a flick of the wrist and it will also sense your sleeping so that it can increase the level of vibration if you set an alarm. The Mutewatch is available to order right now in white, red and gray for $249, and it will start shipping in July.
