Logitech Wants Its Own Fling, Outs Joystick For iPad

Logitech's latest gaming accessory is called the Joystick, and it's a springy plastic thumb stick with a few suction cups that you stick to your iPad's screen to give you better control while gaming. Looks familiar doesn't it? That's because Logitech has essentially taken Ten One Design's popular Fling and renamed it as if it were its own. Logitech has been on a shopping spree as of late. Going after products it thinks it can put its name on and sale like Zagg's Keyboard Case for the iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Only this time Logitech hasn't even mentioned its partnership with Ten One Design. At least Logitech's Joystick will run you a bit less at just $19.99 a pop instead of purchasing two Flings for $29.95.

Ten One Design's Pogo Sketch Pro Stylus, A Piece Of Art

After the success of Ten One Design's Pogo Stylus, the company has recently launched a new stylus designed to work with the iPad and iPad 2 with an aluminum unibody design for a solid and balanced build. The Pogo Sketch Pro is most likely the longest stylus ever made that looks like an artist's paint brush. The Pogo Sketch Pro stylus features an ergonomic rubber grip and a patent pending, pattern structures in the Pogo Sketch Pro's rubber tip that is said to be sensitive enough to be effective in virtually any angle while being able to smoothly glide across a touch screen. It also comes with replaceable tips and is available now for $24.95.

Bluelounge Kicks Adds Bumper Car Protection To Your iPad 2

Bluelounge never ceases to amaze with their amazing yet very simplistic products like this one, the Kicks. These are very simple silicone-rubber rails that use a light 3M adhesive that won't leave any residue and makes re-applying a breeze. The gray colored silicone-rubber strips  blends seamlessly against the back of your iPad 2, almost as if Apple themselves have designed them. We've seen similar add-ons like the iDroplets, but nothing close to what the Kicks have to offer. Positioning each strip along the back side of the iPad 2 allows you to set your iPad on any surface or prop it up against the edge of a sharp coffee table without scratching and harming the beautiful aluminum finish while adding traction too.

The Kicks come in two pairs for $11.95, and are Smart Cover compatible as well. It begs the question, why haven't I though about this?

Woom, The Convertible iPad 2 Keyboard Case

Woom has just started its Kickstarter project in hopes that its convertible keyboard case for the iPad 2 can become a reality. Despite the looks, the Woom isn't another aluminum case. It's made out of durable polycarbonate construction with a concealed, ultra-slim rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard in its base that opens up like a cash register to reveal itself to your fingers. Want to put that ultra-slim Bluetooth keyboard to other uses? No problem, it's fully detachable like the iPad 2 itself and can be paired with any compatible Bluetooth device. The Woom reminds me little of Zagg's Folio keyboard case, only that the Woom looks like it took some illegal steroids because it packs more features like 360 degree rotatable angle for portrait and landscape viewing orientations, and many levels of viewing angles.

The Woom doesn't come cheap though. For all that chunk inside that cover, the Woom will set you back $89. And that's only the pre-ordering price. Head on over to Kickstarter for more.

Twelve South's Compass Got Hit With A Splash Of Color

One of our favorite accessory makers, Twelve South, has just released two new color selections for the Compass stand for the iPad and iPad 2. In addition to the raw, silvery aluminum Compass stand, a hot looking candy apple red and stealthy black colors now accompany the heavy gauge steel easel stand. The pocket sized Compass stand folds open to let you set your iPad, or iPad 2 in various different angles. And it also doubles as a typing workstation. See it in action in our full review right here. The new color additions will look great against the back aluminum of the iPad and iPad 2, and even pop more if you've got a white iPad 2. Twelve South's Compass is available now in all three colors for $39.99.

Wingstand Will Marry Your Tablet & Smartphone With Your Keyboard

This neat little accessory called the Wingstand, takes advantage of your existing Apple Wireless Keyboard and attached to it in order to marry your iPad, tablet, eReader and even a smartphone into a touchscreen working horse. The Wingstand is possibly the tiniest and most portable stand solution we've ever seen before. Of course you can always get one of those keyboard cases, but the Wingstand was created for those who already have all the parts necessary in making their own Multi-Touch computer on the cheap. Wingstand even works with most incased tablets and smartphones so you'll always stay safe and protected. Your gadget will that is. Even Apple's Smart Cover, although that really defeats the purpose of having a Smart Cover isn't it.

Check out the video after the break for some geekiness action. If you like what you see, then you can pre-order a Wingstand for $20 over at Kickstarter. We've got much love for Kickstarter here at Gadgetmac.
